So far, this is the best track in the dark for me on the Rift.
Looks much more real. Especially the track lights.
And yea, I'm with Juan on how bumpy this track is. :)

I just did a few more laps....this track is amazing, the best
ever. And the rF2 FFB comes alive in this track as you feel
everything, really incredible. I am speechless. One thing that
was bothering me a bit was that I was experiencing too much
shaking in the cockpit, because how bumpy it is. I changed the
"Stabilize Horizon" option to "1" and it is much better. You
may want to try that to find the best option for you.
Cheers, Juan

Not only is the track incredible but I swear the tire update for
the Endurance Pack can be felt more than I would have expected.
Is it just me or is the "feel" more true to life at the limit?
Great job by S397!

You are right Paul. S397 did something to FFB, tyre and car
physics as you feel things more. I just tested a different
track and it feels better. Excellent job they did.

Tom lebeuf made the comment that rfactor 2 is beginning to get
expensive. I don't disagree with him that if rfactor 2 makes you
buy every track individually at $10 a track it will get
expensive. However, I expect that we're going to see as they
develop tracks eventually new members will be able to buy track
packs and package deals for significantly less than what the
tracks were when they initially were released. At least that's
my hope.
This is exactly what you saw in assetto Corsa. As Tom pointed
out you can now buy asseto coursa and all of the DLCs for less
than 90 bucks. Mind you this is still half price from what that
particular package was a little while back.
Unfortunately, it appears that as the current tracks are being
released we will have to pay top dollar for their development.
But if the remainder of the tracks are of the same quality as
Sebring I don't think we're going to get any many people
complaining.
I'm actually hoping that one Studio 397 gets there track
building chops up to Snuff they will be able to hammer out
tracks more quickly and offer four to five tracks per pack to
meet the demand as rfactor continues to grow popularity.
I've seen a number of YouTube videos now of people who are
suggesting that rF2 is going to be the next big Sim because of
all the good work Studio 397 is doing on it. I hope they are
right.

That's true. I feel there's another point. S397 need to produce
content at a high rate, since other sim's have more official
content. For that reason I bought the Formula E and Hong Kong.
I've driven that car maybe for 2 hours, so money-wise it was
expensive, but it helps S397 develop our beloved sim and for me
that was enough to buy that specific DLC.
The other content (GT3 pack, endurance pack, Sebring laser
scanned) I really wanted to buy. The price for Sebring is high,
but I feel that average prices will go down at S397 in the
future, even for new releases, because they'll have more
experience with e.g. developing a laserscanned track and a
bigger crow to sell to. A lot of people fell out of love with
rF2 due to the ISI development issues. S397 is making up for
that big time.
Personally I would love if they sold all the items individually
or at least tracks and cars separately.

Well on the plus side,my refund request was rejected so I am
keeping Sebring after all...LOL. It is a fantastic track, I just
REALLY wish S397 hadn't recreated what was already a top 3 track
in Rf2. I really want them to release a track pack, as I think
that is what will draw new interest. I have heard a few
real-life racers indicate that the main reason they use iRacing
is because of the accuracy of the tracks, and having driven both
iRacing and RF2 (for me anyway) there is no debate. Both are
excellent but RF2 at it's best (GTE content) is just
ridiculously good.
In terms of new users to RF2 though, I hate the segregation of
content because what will likely happen is the new user buys the
base game to try it.. IF they can figure out how to get it up
and running without getting fed up, they still have outdated
content and abandoned mods to deal with. I would still like to
see all of the base content updated to the GTE standards and
fully DX11 content. Many mods have been abandoned so it seems
unlikely they will be updated. Hopefully this new "league
support" in the new ui will make it easy to advertise leagues
and have members join. As an alternative, S397 could host a
championship like iRacing does.

We will see marketcrash, ...Reiza Studios & S397 will unite in
August. Unsure how many clients Reiza has working for them, but
they could allow updating of old content, and finally a new UI
for our current game.

I don't believe the two studios are actually uniting. My
understanding is that they are going to Simply bring some of the
assets from Reiza estudios to rfactor 2 such as tracks and cars.
But I don't believe they're actually going to be combining.
