Sebring has been released for purchase on the Steam Store:
HTML https://store.steampowered.com/itemstore/365960/?filter=Featured
It is $10.49 US. The cost for you will be based on the exchange
rate in your currency I suspect. I will be putting up a server
for your entertainment.

Perhaps this is a silly question but why would I "purchase" a
track I'm perfectly happy with already? We've all done many
races on what I see as a perfectly fine version of Sebring.

Not a silly question at all, actually was a popular one when
S397 made the announcement a couple months back. If you're
really perfectly happy with the current version then there is no
reason to buy the new one. For me personally, and if I could
nudge you a bit to maybe change your mind, Sebring is one of
those places like the Ring. The character and feel of the place
in real life is unmatched. VLM did an amazing job of building
and updating their version through the years however the
original is a very old. The bumps and the variety of surfaces
and grip levels was never really replicated in the VLM track. Im
by no means a "Laser Scanned" guy but in this instance I think
it's a must. Even just from the videos of the S397 version I
think one drive through the last turn will make it all worth it.
If none of that convinces you then perhaps Chad, undoubtedly,
making it the season finale track for the league will :)

This new version of Sebring is FUNCKING AMAZING. It is far
superior to the very good version we have been running. The
level of track detail is second to none. The feel in the wheel
of the track surface is thrilling. It is familiar and foreign
all at the same time. Certain corners are completely different
from the older version we have been using. and I have my server
setup for night time racing... under the lights it absolutely
comes alive. It is worth the purchase.

I don't really want to start getting into having to buy tracks
(not that I can't afford it but I refuse to pay $4 or more for
Bud Light draft, too :)) but I'd not rule out certain ones.
There'd have to be a lot of guys buy it (any track) in order to
have a big enough field of cars for me to want to spend the
money.
(Opinion subject to change :))

I will be purchasing it. The way I look at it is that these guys
have a job, in order to stay interested in the job and keep
producing material they need to get paid. I will support them in
any way I can.

If any members are hesitant on roadmaps becoming purchases as we
move along, ill gladly help out to keep member interest &
participation high here. pm. as Rick said before, this is a job
for them. rf2 still isnt where rf1 was in terms of modding/users
because of its wip status. To finally get a complete game, it
may be whats necessary. cya on track this weekend to test
roadmap updates.

Geeez, just went through the car buying process and I think I'm
there again. You guys are like car salesmen, but even more
persuasive! ;D
(Just havin' fun here)

Tell me you didn't buy the undercoating. Never let them talk you
into the undercoating.
