Hey Mates,
for those who dont know me. My name is Dennis Klein (DeK) and Im
43 years old. I migrated from the old VSCR ligue a few years ago
but took a break in RF2 Racing for a while.
About me, im loving cars for life as my parents told me, my
first word to spell was "Cars" .
My Sim Racing started with the old classics. REVS and Test Drive
on Commodore C64, GT on PS1-2 over GTR1 and 2 and Gand Prix to
RF1-2 and some AC and PC2 for fun.
Im looking fwd for some fun and fair racing with you guys. :)
cheers.

Well, guess then it is my turn...though I am around here some
days longer, but as we have many new members it is not bad to
know who you are racing with.
My name is Julian Rehbein. I am 32 of age, living in West
Germany (Dortmund to be specific). I work as an engineer for
thyssenkrupp springs (formerly known as Bilstein suspension)
designing light weight stabilizers (steel and and also carbon)
for huge and small OEMs, right now Audi and Porsche.
So I deal with suspension stuff all day and on the weekends
(well, not in the winter) I like to hunt down cars on the
Nordschleife. I bought a BMW E46 330i, fitted some proper B16
suspension and brakes and there we go. Find below two pictures
from last summer. Next steps are semi slicks and a racing brake,
maybe getting rid of some weight inside the car (my paunch
probably).
I started my racing career with Grand Prix 2 in the 90s, over to
F1RS by Ubisoft and many following F1 games until I found ISI
GTR. I found rF2 in 2014 and starting with VSCR. I was
unfaithful when joining CMS for two years but came back to this
great group and never thought this group could grow that large.
I like GT cars and fair, but hard racing.
I tried AC and pcars, but doesnt worth the money in my eyes.
Also tried iracing, but their politics of paying for everything
is not my thing.

Interesting new info on you Julian. Sounds like a cool job.
I'm turning 32 soon too. I'm a lawyer by profession. No track
experience for me, just regular driving in traffic. There are
few tracks here in Finland so maybe someday. Wouldn't pick Nords
as my first track day experience necessarily, could be costly :D

I think this is due to several factors.
1. Admins that are attentive to the membership.
2. Members who are of the same mindset.
3. S397 producing high quality content and improving an already
good Sim.
4. rF2 becoming a more respected sim since S397 has put so much
work into it.
I don't see any reason to believe that rF2 and conversely VRC
will lose any of its steam soon. Lets keep this up.

Turning 32!
my goodness, just a bay-bee!
my old codger nervous system can't compete with those youthful
quick reflexes.

Hey Julian.
I was born and raised in Dortmund , too. Later I went to
Düsseldorf because family reasons.
I wanted to work for a Car manufactor but as often in live
things go different ways.
So I had to choose an other job.
I start at racing at Nordschleife some time ago and now we do
race the GLP Series there. Unfortunately we destroyed our car
last year and finding another ride is quite difficult when you
have certain expectations on a Car.
So thank you all for the nice welcome here and see you on track.
Cheers Dennis
