rF2 Winter update had dropped

rF2 update for christmas. The GT3 cars as well as a multitude of
other cars have been updated. Also updated is the new Rain
graphics. A full change log will follow shortly. The VRC servers
are in the midst of an update and will be back up and running in
a few minutes hopefully.

For some reason I can not join Valencia with rain server, says
package not available. I deleted the old valencia server mod. I
have also gone into my inventory on steam and unsubscribed and
resubscribed to all the GT3 cars. Everything is up to date here.

I got on the server just fine. Make sure you have the most up to
date content... When I logged on to rF2 I had a ton of content
updates.

It appears that there was an update to the Mercedes that I had
not applied to the server. I will update accordingly and rebuild
the Vmod.

Rick, you can check from ModManager what versions the vmod
contains if you keep having trouble. Sometimes only thing that
helps is to manually download the vmod.

I had the same issue with the Jerez-server. I'll try to look
into it later on. I quickly tried the rain offline on Spa,
without changing graphical settings and wowiee, nice!! Looking
good. The GT3's are more difficult to drive in the rain than the
URD EGT but it's fun. It is nice and doable

We would like to also know if someone if struggling with rain
fps or would absolutely hate it if we would include a rain race
to the next series...
