Understeer, setup or driving style?

So I saw an interesting driving analysis on the S-397 forum
today and is something I know I am guilty of, so thought I would
share. I tend to keep a little throttle through some corner,
which can help keep the car more balance, or correct some
oversteer issues, but can also leads to understeer. This guy
sums it up best.
[center]In driving your main issue, is you need to let the car
turn for a bit more time, letting the car roll a bit more and
then get back on power, you feel the car going slow and you try
to get back on power too early and this makes the understeer
appear, wait a bit more to get back on power, this will decrease
the understeer and you will be able to get back to full power
earlier.
Braking shape is good but I will try to do a bit more regression
(trail off), as it seems you are turning in with too much
pressure so this may create the turn in understeer.
When you lift the throttle on fast corners, try not to do it
quickly as its often better to keep more % and lift more slowly
than lift too much and then jump back on the power, this
unbalances the car changing to quickly the load moving
front-rear-front, if you keep more % and lift for more time the
car won't change too much the ride height so will be balance for
more time.[/center]

I can't stand understeer, But I also can't stand too much corner
exit oversteer. I too sometimes use a bit of throttle to get
through a corner smoothly.

I end up double braking instead of trail braking when I am
attempting to push the limit. Always guilty of coming in too hot
and smashing the brake to turn the car.

Braking earlier is faster in most cases. It allows the weight to
transfer slower and doesn't upset the car as much, which means
you don't have to wait as long to get back on throttle.

I tend to brake early and if i get in too hot lift a bit so back
end starts to go slightly then get back on power to catch it :)
