i dont like they're putting resources on getting a store out and
dlcs already when we dont have a proper dx11 update, plugins or
a decent usable ui.

So they are finally going the dlc way, good for them. Lets see
if I make the dx11 move myself before I'm forced to :p
I understood that Zandvoort will beshow out in August so we
should choose that for our EGT series.

I Will most likely ditch the Porsche had a lot of fun in C7 and
Ferrari last night mates were able to drive it after 8 or so
laps too unlike the Porsche first time they said they like the
game ;D
I have not driven much else bar 911 as started racing you guys
in a 911 still in one 3yrs or so later. i'm sure its not easiest
to drive bar far even if it does look the dogs dangles ;D

DLC is the only way for S397 to make money on this game. It
works when done well. AC DLC was shit. They offered nothing
compelling enough for me to buy any of their stuff. I hope S397
sticks to racing cars and stays away from developing road cars.
Leave that shit to the Simcades and console racers. Most people
race rF2 for the racing cars. That is why it is a "Racing
Simulator".
I really liked that they were/are putting together a
"competition structure". I see this beign somethign similar to
iRacing but with significantly more robust custom events, not
unlike our league races.
One thing that kind of bothered me was the penalty system.

overall percentage rating and a system that penalizes drivers
for off-track or bad driving by giving time penalties instead of
relying on an independent safety rating.

The thought of having a "time Penalty" harkens back to the first
iteration of Assetto Corsa's penalty system that slowed your car
for an amount of time. I certainly hope they dont go in this
direction. I suspect it may be more of a system where your
overall time for the ace is adjusted after the fact, but this
lends itself to having very close, hard fought finishes
nullified by time penalties. Not an outcome I would enjoy if I
were a front runner.
Seeing the Mclaren GT3 car is nice. I also like that it appears
they may be working on an entire series of cars for a given
class of racers.

pack, reaffirming our ambition to align our content!

That bodes well for the future of the Sim as a whole. I suspect
that S397 may be looking at this sim as an E-sport for sim
drivers to compete in money races and team competitions
potentially. Lets hope.

On the penalty system I really hope they stay away from a slow
down penalty system as this would be very disappointing, if they
are going to have a penalty system it should have options that
the server admin can change, like how many warnings and
infractions before the penalty is implemented, with maybe time
penalty added to pit stop or at the end of the race, or a drive
through/stop go penalty option.
I was interested that they mentioned some updates on the tire
model, which is generally already one of if not the best, so
hope they don't mess this up.
