GTR at Montreal sounds good to me.
BTW I found the enduracers LMP is nothing like as easy to drive
at Silverstone as it was at Spa, that is very strange. At Spa I
was standing on the gas for fun and the car just did it. At
Silverstone I'm spinning it all the time! I already took into
account that I was on the softs at Spa (and silverstone), I'm
thinking now perhaps that AC Spa track has something to do with
it, maybe the track has too high grip levels.

Steve, I think you are still alone with the feeling that those
cars have ever been too easy to drive :D

Great race yesterday :) A great start off the line, I seemed to
get clear into 1st and decided to turn in and take the apex.
Actually I never quite got clear of Scott but only by a few
inches, I think Scott gained on me in the brazing zone. I think
it was ok to turn in there but having seen the replay I would
have preferred to give a bit more space. Scott got spun out
there, but of course it makes no difference by the end of the
       race
I stayed in the lead for 12 laps I believe, it was tough going
with Tom & Lord Kral & Scott all close behind, 4 cars all going
a good pace it was an interesting race. At first I was gaining
nice gap on Tom and I thought I might have the luxury of
cruising a bit and look after the tyres whilst maintaining a
gap, but after a couple of laps I could see I did not have such
a luxury and it was necessary to make maximum pace. I can't
remember all the ins and outs but was good fun all 4 of us going
good pace for a long time, changing places a bit and staying
       close.
The biggest difference between this and the Apex and Enduracers,
is (if you have autoblip off) that the car does not auto blip,
where as unusually the Apex & Enduracers actually auto blip
regardless if you have it turned on/off! So that's as massive
       difference which I appreciated.
The other notable thing is the ABS. Just to clear I am totally
happy to run with no aids, and if that is making things a bit
harder for me it don't make no differnce to me, no aids is the
way I like it and I don't feel there is any unfairness because I
know the server settings before I start. But I did see on the
replay (and indeed in my mirrors in the race!), in the major
braking zones like the hairpin & final chicane, just how massive
the stopping power of the ABS cars was compared to myself. They
could brake massively later. And as I say that's 100% cool by
me, and I noticed more than once, Tom and M'Lud, I think they
had to take major avoiding action to avoid going in the back of
me, something which was much appceciated :) I was braking as
late and hard as I could with no ABS, that's all I can do!
This was major difference from Apex and Enduracers, where also
with no aids, I could just stand on the brakes and click click
click down thru the gears and it was easy, no blipping & no big
lockups, in this ISI GTR mod there was huge difference, but you
would only notice that if you turned auto blip and the aids off.
In the end I dropped 2 positions at the hair pin, I only hope to
lose one but HRH Kral joined the 2nd place party free of charge
and held onto it good. I think I got clattered a bit at the
hairpin there but nothing worse than how I clattered Scott at T1
;D I always feel very relaxed here when I have cars in close
pursuit everybody has done a great job of racing nice, bumps are
always going to happen and the bumps we are having are just all
part of racing, not because of wild aggression and foolishness.
I think as well, every time yesterday I had some issue with
another car, my lack of ABS did compound or even create all of
       those incidents.
I was happy to finish 3rd in the end, great racing by all.
Thanks to Chad and Matt and of course his royal Sirship. See you
next week, I hope Mem will join back in for that he just needs
       some extra hummus I believe.

That was a really fun race yesterday.I don"t know how Steve
gets off the line so well,I wasn"t using TC so can"t blame it on
that.As far as autoblip goes,I never turned it on and don"t know
where you turn it off at.All the years I have been sim racing I
have never used any driving aids,if we want to exclude them I"m
100 percent fine with that.I started using ABS with the Apex mod
to help me not lock up the front tires and cause excessive tire
wear,I didn"t notice that it helped me brake any later
though, might have to examine that in the future. As far as turn 1
went,I didn"t expect you to hit the apex like you did but you
were infront of me so technically the corner was yours. As far as
that hairpin goes though, you lost the rear on your own,I thought
maybe I touched you so I backed out of it and there goes Michael
zooming by us.Theres no way I could let Michael win after all
the taunting he was doing to me the day before. He did drive
really good though,so hats off to Michael,he had his 15 minutes
       of fame haha.

My race and pace was quite shit so... but the car was nice to
       drive nontheless.
Btw, this event thread was made for Spa event. You will notice
the headline says that and it's linked to the calendar. Montreal
event has it's own thread...now you know for the future
       reference.

Steve... I dont think I have ever seen anyone get as good of a
start as you do every race... you friggin FLY off the start. I,
unfortunately am a moron and started in 2nd gear.
You were so quick all race, as were Scott and Michael... my only
thought was "try to at least keep them in your sight" but I made
a couple foolish pass attempts that ate my tires and then I spun
on lap 16. Your early braking was an advantage because it messed
up my braking points and im not good enough of a driver to
       improvise.
fantastic race. the 4 of us were seconds apart the entire race.

Oh no wonder I didn't see comments from you guys. You all posted
       in the wrong place.
That was an awesome race between us 4 up front. I thought these
cars were a blast. We should definitely run these again
       sometime.
Scott. Dude. Seriously? My 15 minutes of fame? If you really
beleived that you could have at least let me win. It doesn't
have to look like a throw away. Just miss a turn and go off a
little. But you couldn't do that for me, could you? I trash
talk to help motivate. You should be thanking me. I forgive you
       this time.
Steve, thanks for the kind words. Always a pleasure.
       Tom.

That was hilarious Michael, and you signed your name as Tom at
the bottom of the post haha, another stab at me.You keep bitting
the hand that feeds you lol.Seriously though,I was driving as
hard as I could,so hopefully you can continue to run this good
next season.I wouldn"t mind another race with the GTR either,we
had a poor turnout, but I think the forums didn"t really show
that there was a race until a few days before sunday,I wasn"t
sure we were racing the GTR car.
