Hello from Belgium

Hello
I'm Joris from Belgium. I've been simracing for a long time, but
only since a year or so I try to do club races or easy-going
leagues (in Rf2). The site (simracingteam.de) I use for
URD-races decided to stop due to time constraints to organise
everything... Before I used Racedepartment a lot but a the
moment they don't have club races. So I searched for other
groups that shared a similar spirit: fair racing, but not on a
dead-serious level, and where the schedule (other hobbies...,
you know), type of races... suits me.
And that's how I found this group.
I'm still working on my rig. Just bought a 32" monitor.
Previously I just used my laptop. Next step: a desktop for
simracing.

Welcome Joris. Glad to see you are interested in our group. You
have described us pretty well. Not too serious but serious
enough not to put up with crash kiddies. We have drivers of all
experience levels from complete amateurs to seasoned veterans to
out of the world aliens. There should be a driver near your
experience level and offer competition. If you have any
questions of concerns please feel free to post in the forums or
ask them on our Teamspeak channel on race days.
Thanks for joining us and I hope to see you on track.

Welcome also on my behalf!
If you are interested how you compare to our other members in
terms of speed, look around at the archive board or shoutbox
history, there are some results along with laptimes. Consider
that those times are usually made with lots of rubber and after
great amount of practice.
See you on track!

Joris, if you plan on joining us for the points race on Sunday
you'll need to register for the series on the forums here. You
can do that through the Ceres registration section. Simply
figure out which car you want to drive, you'll only need to
announce the manufacturer not the specific car number or
anything like that. Once you've selected the vehicle you wish to
drive let us know in the forums during registration, and then
join us on Sunday. It's still pretty early in the season and you
can earn points every week that you run.
Hope to see you on track.

Thanks. Too bad I'll leave for a holiday on sunday. So this and
next sunday are a bit difficult.
I don't mind having to wait a season.
As for the car: that's already decided. There's only one car I
already have some setups for.
@Marketcrash16: so I'll have to change car. I've been wanting to
try out the Viper but never got to do it.
