       URD Loch Drummond

Is it just me or is anyone else having a lot of trouble getting
a balanced setup for this track? I am thinking of driving the
Aston, which is pretty good on other tracks, but here I am
really struggling to find a decent setup.
       Any general suggestions welcome.

I am by no means fast here but I think this is one of those
tracks where it is really easy to "over drive" the car. And
even more so with this Mod compared to the Apex Mod.
I find that if I try too hard I end up with a dirty lap but if I
concentrate on going smooth rather than trying to push it and
maybe braking a touch early rather than later and then getting
back on the gas a little sooner out of a corner when I am more
stable I can find just a touch more speed and knock off a bit of
       time.
       Make any sense?
I don't express myself very well LOL

I think thats a pretty fair assessment. A fair number of the
corners have blind entrances. That makes consistent entries a
       lot more difficult.

this mod takes a few laps for the tires to get sticky, and even
then, the small elevation changes make the car get very light on
the corners so it is hard to keep it stuck to the track. I have
no idea how Julian and Scott got those kind of times on so few
laps! Makes me hate them just a little bit. :-)

Yep it is hard track if you push it tried low camber setting
       then default with higher camber
seems to corner better less under-steer on turn in with
       default with less df
think track will get quicker as rubbers laid down

Find attached my setup and replay of the lap so far.
But you are right, most corner entries are blind.
       Crazy insane, got no brain

Thanks guys. I did a few more laps last night and things went a
little better. Your totally right on how easy it is to over
driving the track and all those blind corners.
So I am still not fast, but did manage a few laps in the mid
1:16s. For me it really helped to soften up the springs, like
almost all the way down, stiffen the dampers that effect corner
entry and soften the ones that effect corner exit. Stiffen the
sway bars and add much more down force than I am used to.
Then like you said drive smooth, let the car just roll through
some corners, and be very smooth back on the power.

This combo is absolutely pleasure to drive. Just gotta be
       careful with that throttle.
