Steering pretty light on these i whent from 1.0 to 1.30
also tried 8.0 deg caster not sure how this affects the car
       though
Not driven many OW cars so only comparing it to the ASR 1990 F1
       mod ;D

Very strange going from the GTO to the Dallara.... Steering
soooo tight, breaks soooo sticky. I couldn't get around the
track clean in the little time I was in the server. I will need
cinsiderable time on track to get my head around this car.

If you want a skin for the fun race install this IndyCar mod
pick a skin and create alt in car tuning and create an alt in
       the DW12 mod too
copy and past skin .dds from IndyCar to DW12 ;D

The higher the caster, the more the camber increases with
steering angle, other than that its mainly how heavy it is

I usually use a little higher caster than the default value with
all the cars and it gives pretty nice feel of weight.

If you are only after the steering heaviness, increasing FFB
multiplier is prolly the way to go, if you are scrubbing too
much outter edge in mid corner despite having too high camber
for good braking, than caster is the way to go. This also varies
in corners of various speeds, the higher the speed, the more
downforce hence more tire load and the caster behaviour will be
somewhat different, but that is getting quite deep

       + Good pace
       +Decent start
       + Fun cars to drive
       - I had too much going on, sorry for any trouble I caused,
already said sorry to Tom and also waited for him.
       - Flatspots :P man you got them easily, didn't need abs though
       - second week in a row retiring, lack of practice recently has
       shown
Group C cars sounds fun. I'll be there but with low practice
again probably. I will try to get more track time once the
       series points race starts.
Was nice racing with you guys, thanks for coming! See you next
       week.

       The Newbie's perspective.
My objective today was simply to finish and not cause any
accidents. I'm happy to say I succeeded!
I did come off track several times and lost my front wing not
once, but twice! This gave me a lot of good practice at getting
back to the pits in a broken car with one eye on the track and
the other on the mirrors. I ended up 6 laps down, but I don't
       care. I made it!
The end of race shadows were something new for me. That, along
with fading concentration, made it really difficult at the end.
And I learned something else. Don't rely too heavily on the
brake markers. Sometimes they get taken out by cars!
Physically, I was trembling and sweating a bit by the end. This
might have been more to do with just being afraid of ruining
somebody else's race, than from the actual driving. But
hopefully more time on track with other cars will get me more
comfortable. And I can then start to think about actually
       racing!
I'm definitely in this over my head right now. I have not even
begun to try tuning a car to improve pace. And I'm learning
these tracks as we go. But it's a blast and I hope to remain a
good backmarker for you for a while until I can start to
       improve.
Thanks for a great first outing!
       Paul
