Disappointing for me. It is a long winded way to say that it
isnt ready yet and they are missing their deadline that they
said last month they were well ahead of. Then trying to cover it
up by saying they are adding VR.
screenshots look amazing though.
Also, I would REALLY rather not have them announce new content
unless it is really close to being released. The Radical doesnt
excite me in the least either.

The Radical in Iracing is a blast. But not too many people run
it so you don't get much chance for full fields.

I think the car itself will be great, but much like some other
great cars like the Miata, GTO and USF2000... You have to beg
people to drive it. So I know that even if it is great, it will
be me racing against AI.

iRacing tha RUF and Z4 fun too ;D

last sunday i was streaming rfactor and a guy that said he was a
modder told me they were delayed and wont make it to q1 with the
new build, also that modders havent got a hand in any dx11 build
either.
looks like he was right :p
i like the radical but it is a waste of resources i think about
the nola track too, like it or not we need mainstream content.
a couple in house gt and proto cars plus some gp tracks.
isi already wasted years doing shit vintage cars and fucking
awful tracks (ffs estoril is really bad with weird bumps, also
the gt chicane is just BAD, awfuly made)

I suspect that S397 is finishing up incomplete content ISI
started. I would like to see the Daytona Prototype finished
first.

yup i think that too, my grip is that isi was so focused on
vintage tyre models that their other content feels half assed.
so all the remaining content will be, dont know i have doubts. i
want to stay positive, they got a considerable amount of new
players after they went mp free and with discounts on the
original game. they need to capitalise on it

I think they are doing as well as a team who took over a broken
game can reasonably be expected to. They are doing what ISI
should have done 3 years ago. (DX11) and adding what ISI
should've added last year (VR). They really saved rF2 from the
scrap heap.

The pipeline of lingering material should be clear, minus 2
tracks. They (S397) might abandon existing content and not
update it at all, so we'll keep having stuff from 2013 untouched
while something new comes out fully developed in 2017. I have a
feeling the promised licenses* that got people like me to buy
into the game, or excited, will never materialize even as paid
DLC.
*1967 Eagle F1, 1980s Formula 1 cars like Brabham, Toleman,
March, or Group C cars, the 1995 Reynard Honda, or the 2003 Le
Mans-winner Bentley.
