Yep it is 01_altBAN for banner. and 01_altwing for rear wing ;D
think the ,psd could be for assetto same file prob different
       naming :)
So you can start with an assetto skin if you find one you like
import dds files copy and paste into your .psd file just make
sure there same size 2048 or 4096 ;D
PSD file should have shading layer tab enable that will add
shading over your added graphics. also the paint here file you
could add noise then blur it dulls it a bit :)
this is good to read too

Michael, thanks for that :) I knew it had to be another name
for it!!! Simon, thx. I think it's the shader layer I need to
       work with.
I found out the two sides of the Aston aren't perfectly
symmetrical. I did the trim for one side and flipped it but it
       doesn't quite fit.
Had similar problem with the Apex SLS last season. The template
was slightly rotated off-centre. So after doing one side I had
to copy, flip and rotate by 0.3 degrees to get it to line up.
But at least the two sides were symmetrical.

I worked out how to get the alpha layer working. I was doing
everything right apart from missing one step when saving the
.dds file - which meant the alpha layer wasn't active. Hence
every skin had the fill gloss effect on as default.
You can see the difference. The first 2 pics are default and the
last 2 are with the alpha active. I made the red trim full matt
which now really pops like a fluorescent colour. The white is
mostly matt and I left the black full gloss.

I "prettied" (not sure if that's the right word considering my
complete lack of graphics skills) up my car a bit. Hopefully it
causes a few less headaches this time.
Also please let me know if it looks right if you see me on the
       server. Thanks!

       Guys,
After Simon made an excellent skin for me, I'm afraid that I'm
not sure how to fully take advantage of it. Here is the problem.
Simon made an "alt" dds file for the car livery. He also made a
"banner" dds to change the windscreen text to Porsche and
another dds to add the flag on the rear wing.
Right now, I just have the main "alt" dds file uploaded to the
       server.
I tried to combine the three dds files using the MAS utility and
then upload the MAS file to the server. But that didn't seem to
show up in game. (unless I just didn't wait long enough?)
Can someone help me understand how to get multiple dds files up
to the server? Actually, I guess i didn't try uploading all
three dds files as separate files.
Anyway, I feel that I should wait for some direction before
messing around with this too much. For all I know, uploading the
files incorrectly could impact server performance!
(If this is already covered in a previous post, I apologize, and
please send me a link to it)

       Paul.
I think you have to name the dds files the same as the mas file.
Also you need it to have its own name, not just ALT. Try like
       this...
       PaulALT01.dds
       PaulALT01ban.dds
       PaulALT01wing.dds
       Pack to....
       PaulALT01.mas
Everytime you connect to the server it checks the file name only
but won't upload changes based on timestamp (I beleive.) If you
want to make changes I suggest renaming all the dds to 02, 03,
       04...and then repack to mas
       Hope that helps!

yep if you change alt name on all 3 files it will upload any
changes. no need to create mas file :)
