If you have time to build another skin....
Someone noticed my skill at mowing grass at the last race and I
now have a sponsor. John Deere Motorsports!
I would love to have my Porsche painted John Deere tractor green
with yellow wheels. I think this would also clearly highlight my
"green" nature in this series and hopefully help the real
drivers steer clear of me. Additionally my car would be
camouflaged while I am hiding in the grass in shame in yet
another wrecked Porsche.
Originally, I thought I was being funny making this up. But then
I did a search and low and behold there really IS a John Deere
Motorsports.

I guess the other details are name and nationality. Although my
name is Paul, I have been nicknamed Ibby from an early age so
either is fine with me. For nationality, believe or not, I have
three: British, Canadian, and American. I found the attached
flag which I thought was kind of neat.
I realize I am probably person number 34,786 to ask you for a
skin, so I completely understand if you are sick of it. Someday
I will learn to do them myself, but I fear the championship will
be over before then.

Thanks quite happy with it myself adding the 2 black stripes
finished it off nicely :)
I took few lines off my car skin as selection then applied to
new skin and filled makes it quick to do
I done this in 5 mins ;D

Simon, your skins are awesome 8) Your Porsche looked great on
track. I started making a skin for my Arthur Martin - I
downloaded the template from the URD site. There are PSD files
for the body, wing, windows and windscreen banner.
I can't work out how to replace the banner. The file is called
"AM_EGT_banner" - but adding "banner" to the .dds file name
doesn't work. So I'm thinking there must be another name for it.
Any idea? I've noticed you haven't changed the banner on your
skins.
Also, any idea how the alpha channels work? The car is looking
out too shiny/glossy all over - I'd like to add some matt
details.

Rich I was having the same problem just yesterday. I finally
figured out that the VISOR or the BANNER is just "BAN." Tag that
on the end of your car name and it will show up. So frustrating
that I couldn't find that online anywhere.
