Correct me if I am wrong Steve, but the 1987 Celica mod is the
bad one, is it not?
I recall the 86 version was the good one.

This is the one I found on the Steam Workshop. It did seem to be
different from the one that we used to have before

Affirmative!
The one on steam by JuergenBy is no good whatsoever. I put link

Awesome.
Not to be a pain in the arse, but I believe these cars had
manual tranny, and no abs, autoblip or tc. Can we go full
simulation for this one race? :-)

No comment ;D ;D
Autoblip is not enforceable by rf2, I have it off out of
preference you do it in player file.

Vmod updated to 86 GTO. As this is a fun run I am not as
interested in "ultra-realism". I have run this mod with both
paddle shifters and H shifter. I am definitely faster with
paddles and no clutching. I am concerned though with enforcing
that an H shifter requirement is that not everyone has a
standalone shifter. This then requires the un-intuitive
technique of clutching with a paddle shifter. Also rF2 does not
have a realistic clutch system anyways. So while enforcing a
clutch and shifter system for a car that had them sounds good in
theory, in practice it is not yet feasible in rF2.

You can't enforce H shifter in RF2 anyway, it's not possible.
And many people don't have H Shifters, including me. I thought
you was talking about ABS & TC.
