New Home, New Day (Dad and Josiah)
By: Josh Date: August 16, 2021, 7:45 pm

I normally get up ahead of everyone in the mornings. This one is
no exception, although Claudine's also getting up and ready.
Now to check in on the boys. I head down to Josiah's bedroom and
knock lightly. "Josiah? Time to wake up, Son," I say as I enter
the room and go sit down by him on the bed. I know what happened
last night with Claudine and each of the boys. This morning I
just want to take the time to check in on em and make sure they
wake up on the right side of the bed, so-to-speak.

Too early! The move has made me more tired it seems and when Dad
knocks I groan a little. I don't feel like waking up yet, much
preferring to stay asleep in dreamland. My bed is also super
cosy and snug.
I feel the weight of Dad sitting next to me and I pull my covers
right up over my head. "Urg nooo too early." I grumble out

I let out a chuckle when I hear my son's protests about it being
too early. "Aww, come on. It's not that early," I tease lightly.
"At least it's daylight."

Dad teases about it not being that early and that at least
there's daylight. "Five more minutes... I whine now
pulling my pillow over my head. I want to just stay here all
day.

I chuckle when Josiah asks for five more minutes. Rubbing his
back I tell him, "well I didn't exactly come up here to rush you
out of bed. I came to check up on you about last night. So we
can just hang out here for as long as you want."

At Dad's words I shrug and then groan, last night was not out
the ordinary but it didn't change my opinion. It sucked. I
responded grateful for the covers over my head

I see the shrug and then hear the groan. I chuckle quietly. When
Josiah says last night 'sucked' I answer, "well then are you
ready to get the plug out?" I'm not going to prolong his
'agony'.

Dad chuckles about my answer but I don't bother me, he knows how
much I don't like the whole thing but I get on with it. Dad's
next words have me more awake than a moment ago, "Hell yes!" it
ain't comfortable so to have the damn plug outta my butt would
be a great way to start the day.

"Jo," I warn with an amused smile at the curse.

Dad says my name with a warning tone and I then repeat myself
but less cursing. "I mean yes. I'm ready to get the plug out
" I squirm a little all to aware of the plug now
