       In her speech after the results of the first round, the
       candidate called to defend the "value of people against the

       The communist candidate Fabien Roussel, for his part, ran an
       "anti-woke” in which he defended the right of workers to eat
       good meat (and also good cheeses) and drink good wine. Finally,
       it was Jean-Luc Mélenchon, the best positioned throughout the
       campaign, who received the useful vote of those who, despite
       rejecting his tones as a narcissistic leader, decided that it
       was the only option to avoid the collapse of the "left-wing
       people.
