Regular Reset of Starter System

Hey have you guys thought of maybe resetting the starter system
one a week/fortnight? That way the deposits will be refreshed,
people won't live on starter planets and you'll get people
moving a lot quicker.
You'd obviously need to have a dedicated server announcement for
it on a regular basis. It just seems like a practical way to run
the starter system, rather than players mining already depleted
resources and resorting to meteorites.

We did that once before with a system called 'Andreas' - in that
we reset it on the first day of each month. It ended up creating
so many questions for people I haven't bothered doing an
automated one this time round (yet!). Instead I rotate through
the starter planets from time to time. As an example, last night
I changed the starting system to be back to 'Carina System' once
again. So now there are three more fresh planets for new
players. We still have our other two starter systems "Thallon
System" and "Lave System", which will allow players plenty of
time to move on before they come back on the radar as 'fresh'
systems as such.

Just to be sure, does it mean that now reset of starting planets
is not conducted on regular basis and I can spend a lot of time
playing on Lyra (where I am now) without worries about my base
being deleted one day?
I am sorry for maybe obvious question, but I played on another
servers where all bases on PvE planets were wiped off every
week. I do not have so much time to play so I just want to be
sure that my base will not suddenly dissapear after weeks of
construction.

G'day Zerg,
Just got back from holidays thus the delay in response. If you
are on Lyra as of now, then yes you have plenty of time to muck
about before leaving. I don't change the starter planets until
the current batch get mostly depleted of resources, and since I
have set up 3x starter systems, I rotate them through so you
will have probably a couple of months before I have to look at
reseting Lyra.
