Unable to log on Venatus

Im using 6.4.1 1148 and unable to log into game and looking for
reasons why its not connecting.
So far I re-installed EAC, Verified game file via steam also
done an uninstall and re-install of the game, not in that order
though I've tried all three combo's
at time of post Im able to enter other 6.4.1 servers no problem,
I have tried entering via the ip:port but no success (just
returns to Empyrion Menu screen) The game appears to be running
fine on other servers...all I can think is I've been excluded
perhaps???? its weird, last few succesful logins I had some
weird things going on i.e CV's wapring but me being strnaded
behind...any idea's peeps? its an awesome server and Im missing
it :(

One of our other players advised that they were having a
simililar issue and it turned out to be a client side issue and
I can assure you that we have not excluded or banned you in any
way.
So for them as it was explained to me if they went in through
steam and pressed 'play' it would not work, however if they used
a shortcut on their desktop or directly through the exe in your
install directory it would work for them.
I would be interested to know if of the other servers that you
can join are the EAC enabled or not (if they are they have a
shield next to their names)?
The other thing you could try if that doesn't help is deleting
your cached version of our server, it will be located in the
installation directory under 'Saves\Cache' and will say - Alpha6
at the start with some numbers after the folder name.
Deleting that will make it get fresh files when you try to join
the server and maybe all you need.
Good luck and please let me know if it is still an issue - also
if you are getting an error when trying to connect that might
help us to help you get back in.

no Luck
I erased the Cache folders and tried to log into Venatus game
and got an EAC error, entered the EAC application and did an
unistall and re-install and the Empyrion opened up. I then tried
to log onto Venatus, It tries to connect and says it waiting for
approval, after some time I get no error msg just returns to the
in-game menu "tutorial, single player, multiplayer, options"
ect.
I succesfully entered another AU 6.4.1 EAC server no
problems...checked the cache and it had created on folder
obviously for that server.
looking for clues I checked the options menu and noticed the EAC
had defualted back to 30000 and so changed it to 30200 then
restarted Empyrion and attempted to log into Venatus and it
attempts to connected to server and after a while returns to the
game main menu.
I also tried running the game .exe file (as administrator) but
made no difference,,,shame because I really enjoy venatus over
the other AU ones.

I really don't know sorry TK, all I can suggest at this time is
to contact the Eleon support team and see if they have any
ideas.
Maybe put a message up on the steam forum or through

thanks for trying....
I've pasted below a segment the end of the log file for the
previous connection attempt...is it possible for an admin to
erase my player ID from the server contained in the fragment
below maybe that might help?
Let me know when if you remove me and I will try restarting from
scratch

I have renamed your player ID file which if it works will give
you a fresh start on the server.
If that works and you get in, you won't have access to any of
your previous stuff, so just flag an Admin and we can help get
you access to CV's, SV'c etc.

still unable to login, will just have to make do on another
server until the next patch comes out while I get the Dev's to
get back to me on this, I will keep voting for a while see how
it all pans out.

Hi TK,
Hopefully you haven't moved on yet and can still see these
messages. I cannot run Empyrion by itself as it whinges about
EAC .... Instead, I have to launch the following ;
"D:\Games - Steam\steamapps\common\Empyrion - Galactic
Survival\EACLauncher.exe"
That gets me in fine - so I made a shortcut and utilise that.
See how you go.

Still no joy with even with the direct shortcut as suggested
with Andy, currently playing on CraftAU server, has same
settings as yours except the port number, some I can log onto
some I cant even thought they are all the same build and have
EAC.
Still voting for you guys, hopefully one of the next patches
will get me online ;)

TK, not sure if we've already tried it or not, but I'll try
resetting your player id and see if that let's you in.
I'll do it this evening for you and post when done so you can
try.
