laminated stocks

I bought 3 from Boyds last month. Got em to replace the poly
stocks. just checking to see what you guys think of the
laminates?

Love the look of laminate stocks. I prefer wood over synthetic
stocks for the most part. Although I do find myself in the
field worrying about scratches. My Savage 22-250 is
synthetic....I just lug it around with no worries other than
knocking the scope off. ;D ;D

I also like the laminates for stabilty but the fiberglass and
carbon fiber stocks are alot lighter and tougher. I have used
boyds and others too. The boyds is a real steal,I like the bobby
hart laminates and will buy one soon at stockys.

I have never purchased the Boyd's stocks....I hear they are
great.

I love the looks and feel of the laminates although I have
synthetics also.
jonbearman, I have a bobby hart lrt on my 22 x 47 lapua (savage)
and I love it! rides the bags very well!

Far better than plastic or plain ole walnut stock that move
around and warp.

Well, shoot Boyds a message. I think if they get enough replys,
they will incorporate the Axis or the Edge in the line-up.
