New to this forum. I知 a distance shooter.

So I知 new to this forum but have been hunting over 23 years
now. Shooting long distances about 15 years. Any one ells into
this? I do limit my self to much short ranges on most hunts for
fair chase and added challenge but I have taken game out past
800 meters and I shoot competitively in the 1000 heavy target.
Me and my 1000 heavy target rifle.

Now that is a gun. What caliber is that, and do you have to
mount it to shoot it?

Not so much a distance shooter generally <500 yrds. Am very
happy with a nice head shot though at any distance.. ;D

It痴 50BMG, weights about 80lbs. I just set it on sandbags, it
kicks about like a .223.

Somewhere there's an M1 Abrams tank missing it's cannon. ;D
That is one wicked weapon. If it had a nice seat and could be
rode I'd consider one. 80 lbs. :o
