       Smith and Wesson M&P 22

I seriously looking to buy the M&P 22 for plinking and
target/range practice. The ammo is very cheap which allows for
more shooting time to improve technique and accuracy. I carry
the Ruger P95...do you think it is practical to shoot one
caliber to master technique and improve accuracy and CC a
       different caliber?

I think having a .22 will make plinking much less expensive and
it might help you learn better trigger control but it would be
much better if the .22 was built on the same frame as your
Ruger. If you could find a .22 that is basically the same as
your Ruger it would serve you better. I'm pretty lucky owning a
1911, there are conversion units that I can buy to turn my .45
into a .22. That way I'm using the same frame for shooting .22's
that I use for shooting .45's. I'm actually looking into buying
another 1911 thats dedicated to .22 cal. Theres a lot of them on
the market today at very reasonable prices.

Great little gun to shoot. Doesn't break the bank either.

Got one of those puppies myself. Only put 500 rounds through
her so far....but she loved every one of them.
