I went the easy route and bought some from Gander MT. for $9.00
bucks. Not bad either.

I use bipods when i varmint hunt, a shooting stick during deer
when i go for walk.
Does anybody have a Caldwell deadshot fieldpod? I'm thinking
about getting one, just wondering how good are they.

My friend has one that he totes around. He picked up the shakes
from the Mid-East and needed something to give him a stable shot
in the field. He has shot on the flats and off the sides of
hills and swears by it. Only thing I can say is that he has
never missed what he has shot at and it is lite weight.
