       She's a keeper!

       Last weekend my wife found a yard sale listed in the paper with
       a bunch of quilting stuff and thought she'd like to check it
       out. She wasn't sure where it was so I jumped on the PC and
       found it. I wasn't doing anything fun so I offered to take her.
       By the time we got there most of the quilting stuff was gone but
       I noticed a bunch of reloading goodies and while I was checking
       them out the lady asked if I was interested in guns. She said
       her husband had a pistol for sale and would have him bring it
       out if I wanted to see it. He came out with a Springfield 1911
       A1 Loaded model, stainless steel. It was a very nice piece with
       a few small beauty marks but all in all in good shape. My son
       has been looking for a 1911 so we dickered on the price a bit
       and he came down to what I felt was a good price. I told him I'd
       check with my son to see if he would be interested. We were
       walking back to the car when the wife asked me about the pistol,
       wanted to know if it was something I'd like to have. That
       stopped me dead in my tracks and she said " Well, Christmas is
       coming so if you'd like to have it you better act now ".
       Needless to say that 1911 came home with me. Think I'll keep her
       around for a while ;D .
