I only have one Savage in my safe but its a good one. Model 99
chambered in 250-3000. The neat thing is that its the takedown
model and a very early gun. It was Granpaps deer gun. If kept
the family fed during the Depression.

I'll try to post some pic's but have been having troubles
getting them to post. I wish it was legal to use for deer here
but we can use either slug guns, muzzle loaders or handguns.
I've shot a few chucks with it but it does spend most of the
time in the safe. The front sight ramp is actually machined on
the barrel, never seen another one built like that.

Wow, picking a favorite for me is difficult because I have a
different weapon for just about each type of hunting or shooting
I enjoy and I enjoy them at different times of year for
different reasons. So I will break it down by category and
stay within the field of hunting rather than comp weapons and
       fun guns:

For my fave bolt gun it hast to be one of my 700’s, of my 700’s
my sps .308 that serves as a deer gun, my .223 VTR and my .308
VLS that I customized all hold special places in my heart.
Though for honorable mention, my 40X in 22-250 and my Sako 75 in
.338 win mag are good runners up. The Sako is definitely the
most attractive gun I own but I only shoot it now and then.
  HTML http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd187/GrandLordKhorne/Firearms/3FaveBoltguns.jpg[/img]

For semi auto-rifles I have a soft spot for my matching pair of
H&K’s but I also love my M1A national match. I don’t hunt often
with semi-autos but every now and then they come in handy.
  HTML http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd187/GrandLordKhorne/Firearms/3FaveSemiAutos.jpg[/img]

In the category of revolvers I like my Ruger super Blackhawk
hunter .44Mag, my GP100 in .357Mag and my old 3 screw Blackhawk
.45LC. I probably enjoy shooting the old 3 screw the most but I
tend to use the GP100 the most. My .44Mag was a lot more
important when I lived out west, but it just has so many
memories for me it is hard not to really love it. The honorable
mention in the category would be my single 6, but I tend to like
and use my buck mark more.
  HTML http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd187/GrandLordKhorne/Firearms/Revolvers.jpg[/img]

For the category of semi-auto handguns I have only hunted with 2
over the years, my Glock 20 in 10mm auto and my Buck Mark plus
nickel in .22LR. Having said that, both are good guns but
definitely not my fave semi-autos so I will deviate a little and
pick the 3 I just like to shoot the most. My Kimber Super
Carry Pro HD .45ACP, my Glock 19 and my Walther PPK 9mm Kurz.
Of the 3 the Kimber shoots the best, the Glock 19 I have just
gotten so good with that I can’t help but love it and the PPK
just makes me feel a little like Bond (it’s my carry gun when
       I’m black tie).
  HTML http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd187/GrandLordKhorne/Firearms/IMAG0148.jpg[/img]

For Rimfire it is my Savage 93R17. I also love my Remington
Model 5 but the 93R17 is just more appropriate.
  HTML http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd187/GrandLordKhorne/Firearms/Savage17.jpg[/img]

The rest of the categories are a little more strait forward:
Black powder would be my TC Encor .50, I don’t hunt with any of
my single shots, shot gun would be my 870 wingmaster super mag
if we are talking hunting but I love my over and under Brownings
       for clays.

       Forgot lever guns: Marlin 45-70Gov.

Ran across this pic when I was looking for the others. This was
my lineup when I had just moved to my current location. The pic
is out of date but a friend made a de-motivational out of it so
I keep it around. From top down: 870 wingmaster super mag, Sako
       75 in .338Win Mag, Rem 799 in .300Win Mag, CZ 550 in .30-06, VTR
       in .223, Encor .50ML, Rem Model 5 in .17HMR, Marlin .45-70Gov.
my Super Blackhawk .44Mag and my Buck Mark plus Nickel can be
seen to the right with my bow. Since the taking of the pic I
have switch my hunting lineup to match my location much better.
I still have every weapon shown but the Magnums are not trip
away type guns rather than primary hunting arms. My CZ is a
great gun but I use it primarily as a loaner now.
