Change is good

Decided to give "AT&T" (long distance is the next best thing to
being there) a face lift. She's my Model 70 Winchester 300WSM.
This is probably the only gun I've ever owned that this elderly
guy feels confident (with a good solid rest) that at 500yds,
it's dead.
Boyds gunstocks are the prettiest laminated stocks I have ever
seen. At a cost of $99.00 plus shipping they are a steal. The
feel is out of this world. Can't wait to bench this puppy.

That is one sweet stock. Love the laminate...and at that
price....a steal. Wish they made one for the Axis. :'(

I have a Swedish Mauser that is going to get restocked with one
of the Boyds Laminates. Great stocks, my Son has one of their
thumbhole lam. on his Swede. Hard to beat their prices.

I had enough tools laid out to replace the tracks on a Sherman
tank. It turned out to be drop in, absolutely no wood work
needed. Barrel even floated. I was totally shocked; 10 minutes
tops to install. Fit better than the factory stock that I had to
rework to float the barrel. Looks and feels great.

Depends on how it shoots BJ. I beded the factory one and it
helped it, but it really depends on whether my groups open
up.[/quote]
