       A few pigs before work.

Not sure where to put this, feel free to put it where ever it
       needs to go.
I got to test the .17 Hornet on a few pigs yesterday before
work. The pigs fed some of our Wounded Warriors.

Nice job on the pigs. We don't have them here in Northern Ohio,
wish we did, mighty tasty on the table.

Great job with the hornet. I am waiting for the pigs to make it
into the central portion of KY. They say they are plentiful I
the eastern portion of the state. For what I've seen from most
hunting shows you can walk within 40-50 yards of them.
Heck...have to pull the 9mm on them if that is the case. Thanks
       for the pics.

It depends on what they are doing, and lots of other things as
far as to how close you can get to them. They are treated as
pests here much the same as coyotes, only tastier ;D . As such
the can be very wary of the little things, or as dumb as a post!

I've heard that their eye sight is bad but the ears and noses
are as good as a white tail.

Looks like a lot of fun and some fine eating. Those guys can
sure do a lot of damage to farmers crops. Congrats on a good
hunt and bless you for the donation to a great project.

They are hard on everything. I have seen a big boar walk up to a
new high tensile "game proof" net fence and stick a tusk under
the net and break the wires then walk right through. He to got a
high speed lead injection right behind the ear, which cured him
       instantly. ;)
