The past 2 days...

A buddy & i were settin up this mornin when two coyotes came
barreling towards us in some woods 15 yards behind us. It was
his turn to get a kill so he shot but missed... Immediately i
hit the pup distress call and the dogs made a u-turn and ran
right by the call and into a field.. One split back away from us
but there was no running for the other. He fired one and i fired
a second shot a half a second after his. The coyote was nearly
decapitated :( not good for furs, but a dead yote nonetheless.
One more down and my buddies first coyote, & it was his
birthday! All of this took place in a matter of 45-60
seconds.[/font][font=verdana]Dog down!

My dad and brother in law have had just about enough of my
coyote stories.. So they decided to go with me.. My brother
in-law & i set up on a hill over looking about 225 yards of
fields and woods with my dad to our backs about 45mins until
sunset. After about 10 mins of rabbit distress this mature
female carefully made her way into sight. She froze up and I
tried to get my brother in-law to shoot it, but he couldnt get a
shot.. Soo i took the ol girl right around 200 yards with some
55gr loads in my Savage .243![/font][font=verdana]Dog down!! 2
in 2 days![/font]
