I've heard they're down near Vinton county. But never ever seen
a report or pic of any killed. I would guess they are escapees
from someones pen raised wild hog preserves?

I have always wanted to hunt wild hogs with my bow......and I
too love the pork chops. Don't know if any in Central KY....may
       be some in Eastern KY.

According to the ODNR wild pig populations are growing here in
Ohio. They recommend shooting them when they are found. My guess
is that they are here to stay and if I can find some I'll do my
part and put some in the freezer ;). I have an Excalibur
crossbow I'm dying to try out.

From what I understand once they get a foot hold they're there
forever. They are a very smart animal and can do major damage to
       crops.

I would love to see some hogs around this part of the country
       myself.

Only hogs around here are those domestics that have been
released. But they can get BIG.
