Trophies

I just finished this tonight. I thought it came out pretty good.
I boiled the skulls, then bleached, then painted. I found out
you dont actually use bleach. >:( I was supposed to use 40%
peroxide.

This turned out very nice. I notice that the bobcat has a brain
cavity about as big as the coyote....anyway...good job. Thanks
for posting.

What do guys use to whiten them? I see peroxide. Anything else?
I know that certain chemicals will cause the thin bones in the
nose to get brittle and break off.

I used bleach and it did make them brittle. It also made black
streaks in them. that is why i had to paint them. Later i read
that peroxide will make them snow white and not harm the bone.
