Had 3 dry runs this morning. >:( 13deg, wind blowing. This
evening it had warmed up to about40 and no wind!
I went out where I had seen the black cat but this is the only
thing to show. I called anoter 20 minutes hopeing the black one
would show.
Typical central OK cat, small and red bellied.

pic. How far was the shot? What caliber? How much did it
weigh? Male or Female? Sorry for all the questions. ;D

Good looking cat, are the hides worth much? They're pretty rare
here in N.E. Ohio, haven't seen one in years.

I hear that hides are up to $200 for prime but I bet they are
closer to $50. We have quite a few here.
This cat came across 200yds of open pecan grove trotting past
cows the whole way. I had set up on the edge of the grove next
to a creek, expecting a cat to come out of the creek. This one
looked like it came from where I parked the truck! She finally
cleared the cows and turned down a fence line straight to the
call. She paused at about 60yds I het her in the chest with a
55gr softpoint and she dropped in her tracks. left a 6mm hole in
the pelt, couldnt ask for any better. I use an AR chambered in
6mmTAC (223 necked up to 6mm with a 30deg shoulder) I got her
tubed out to sell. Its the first time I have done it but, it
came out pretty good. I forgot to wiegh her but I guess around
14 to 15 lbs.

Nice job... $200 for prime....not bad at all. I'm like
you...probably $60 will be max. Great looking cat anyway. Mine
is going on the wall.
