My favorite gun,hmmmmmm. Thats tough but I would say it is a
toss up of my hi-standard supermatic citation .22lr. The reason
for loving it is the grip frame being identical to the 1911 45
and when fully loaded it weigh's the same as a .45. The
accuaracy is unparalelled to any gun in the same price range.

I have only owned two handguns...first was a S&W 38 that I sold
over 30 years ago...the second I just bought last month...

I took it to the range last week and ran 100 rounds through
it...it is sweet!!!...I have 500 rounds of target ammo on
backorder from MidSouth to get it fully broken in...I was able
to find 80 rounds of home defense ammo for it but at more than
$1 a shot I don't want to use this for target practice...I think
I am really gonna like this pistol...

Nice looking pistola. The 1911 platform has been around for over
100 years and still going strong. I have the S&W 1911, stainless
full size and love it. I;ve got 4 or 5,000 rds thru it with only
1 malfunction and that was a bad primer. Enjoy that piece and I
hope you never have to draw it in self defense but if you do
it'll do the job rather well.

I don't carry...this gun is strictly for home defense and fun at
the range...now all I need is to find some "reasonable" priced
ammunition...I have 500 rounds back ordered from MidSouth but
they could not tell me when they will get more in...

My house gun is a Rem 870 with an 18 1/2 in slug barrel loaded
with #4 buck. When I'm out and about my 1911 is always with me
but its still "Plan B". Best choice going into a gun fight is a
long gun, either a shot gun or AR type rifle. I shoot a pistol
pretty well but no where near as well as I do a long gun.
