You might consider a .38 Special for the daughters. Charter Arms
makes some real nice revolvers, well made and very reasonable.
In auto's theres a company that brought out a .22 Mag that holds
30 rounds, thats a lot of firepower thats easy to shoot. Its
made by Keltec, model PMR 30. I've been giving that one a lot of
thought, .22 Mag has plenty of stopping power at close range and
       has almost no recoil.
[/quote]Thanks for the advice and information. I definitely will
check these out. Got got concealed carry class coming up in a
       couple weeks. Thanks again.

The Keltec PMR30 seems to be an all round great gun. I don't
own one personally...but all the reviews and videos I have read
and watched have nothing but good to say about the gun.
       Definitely worth checking into.

I spent about an hour last evening reading about the Keltec PMR
       30. Also watched several videos. Seems to be a great gun for
the money. I do agree.....the .22mag will be sufficient for my
two daughters and maybe my wife also. Thanks for the heads up
       on this handgun.

They must have sold, I'll keep an eye out and if they relist
some I'll let you know. Looks like they must be awfully popular,
       sure are tough to find.
