Shotgun for yotes

What types of shotgun shells do you use for yotes? I got OO buck
and different steel loads. What choke should i use?

This is a great question. I too could use some feedback in this
area since I always use the 22-250 when hunting yotes. I have a
hard time waiting for these dudes to come in @ 100 yards before
I pull the trigger....let alone watching them run in range of a
scatter gun. If they get that close...I'll just pull the 9mm
and give it a try... ;D

I have had good luck out to 40yds with 3" 1buck. I got better
patterns with a mod choke over the full.
Always wanted to try "Dead Coyote" shells but they are waay to
expensive for my taste!

I usually hunt in open country when possible. I guess a shotgun
is necessary when shots are 50 yards and less. I would say
1buck will put the smack down on one.... ;D

A lot of times I am in timber and shots are under 20yds. A lot
of times I wish I had my sotgun instead of my ar.

That's close indeed, I can see the need of a scatter gun. 100
yards is close for me... :o

I use my 935 Mossberg turkey gun. A .685 Kicks Gobblin thunder
choke tube. Remington 3"magnum 00 buck. Have only shot a couple
of coyotes, the farthest one being about 45 yds. Would not
recomend it for hide hunters.... ;D
