       New spotting scope!

Just got a spotting scope from my company. It was my 10 year
anniv gift I got to pick out of a catalog. I had a choice of a
watch, wine chilling refridgerator or a Bushnell Sentry
18x36x50mm. I think I made a good decision. Very nice quality
just need to pick up a window mounting bracket for it.

Great decision no doubt. I personally have not used one...but
hear they do a great job. Check out Youtube....lots of great how
to videos on making window mounts for spotting scopes.

Congrats on the 10 yr Anniv. I got a tie tac for mine, the scope
beats that hands down. You can pick up a window mount off Ebay
       pretty cheap.

I was looking around in an old trading post yesterday and came
across a Bushnell spotting scope with the tripod....in the case
       for $80.00. Don't have a clue what it's worth. I bet I could
have got it for $60.00 or less. It looked new....worked great.

I like using spotting scopes and Laser rangefinders when hunting
       chucks. I have a Burris 20x to 60x by 80mm spotting scope and a
Bushnell Laser rangefinder. Out to 200 yds theres not much need
for them but beyond that they help alot.

I always carry a Bushnell Yardage Pro range finder in the truck.
It's a cheap range finder , but helps me with those longer
       shots.

Everything I own from my bow on up is zeroed to my BYP range
finder and I don't leave home without it. A few years ago my
older brother gave me a new Simmons 15-45X 50mm spotting scope
and tripod. He won two of them at a RMEF banquet. You can tell
if a whistle pig shaved before coming out from a long, long way.
