Post your iron farm designs, mob farms, auto farms, and useful
redstone circuitry (Gates, locks, etc)

On V5, we *Are* going to use a piston powered mob grinder, I
just built one, tiny section and got 85 mobs in less than 3
minutes, in total there were only 66 blocks for them to spawn
on, and I got a constant stream until the mob spawns maxed out.
Of course, this was on a superflat single player world, but we
can mimic the superflat aspect, if we choose to, meaning if we
really have time to fully optimize our grinder, we can coat an
entire 130x130 in half slabs so it would be superflat+ :} Of
course we would need all of Vangaard to light all underground
dark spots, and dig the above ground area flat, BUT IT SHALL BE
DONE
If we fear that it wont perform well on multiplayer (We really
should fear this, because this will cost ALOT ALOT ALOT of
sticky pistons), we can build a small section and see how well
it works.

VG slime farm, we'll need loads of sticky pistons on the new
map, so could someone work on a good, efficient design on
creative? Or find one on reddit or somewhere, I'd like it to be
fully automatic, perhaps make it convertable into an XP machine
if we need it, have the large slimes break down into medium
slimes, and the medium broken down into tiny ones.

My observation is what works on superflat never works on the
server :( It would be awesome to find a double spawner early in
the game.

It should work, at least in theory, because the second the mob
spawns it is pushed into a canal so it has nowhere else to go, I
know for a fact that it will be slower on multiplayer, but it
should still be the best possible grinder available just because
of the speed that the mobs can be transported and killed without
the mobs having anywhere to travel before falling, allowing for
more to spawn immediately after.

14 blocks per second transport system for items! :D That's
faster than u high on potion II sprint flying in creative!

Nice use of droppers, I didn't even know they could transport
items through each other until now, you should put a comparator
at the back of one of the droppers so when an item is placed in
by say, a hopper, the comparator sends a pulse and automatically
sends the items, that way it will actually be useful for
automated farm item transport, but I doubt we will use it to be
honest, ice and water is still quite fast and very simple

u know one could design a version that goes up? :P I believe
that would be very useful, since water (naturally) flows
downwards, and there is no way (except manually) to get items go
vertically.. so, yeah... :) I actually already did design a
vertical one :P its very simple, just a few torches, and a pulse
thing creator.

Bem made a good design using just 2 pistons and a 3x3 solid
tower for a vertical transport, im playing with his design right
now actually, putting items in a permanent loop until the
despawn (Colored wool, so it's pretty)

Yeah that system if really cool, but I wouldn't trust it
particulary with anything valuable.... the chance of something
glitching is a risk I'd rather not take with my valuables :P
