       today's the 70th anniversary of that battle, the Australian
       soldiers that surrendered and became Japanese POWs had to endure
       the inhumane conditions of the burma railway one of those lost
       during the battle was my great grandfather Corperal J. H Bradley
       RIP those that died during the battle to try and stop the
       Japanese from advancing any further towards Australia the
       advance was eventually stopped in Raboul PNG.
