       Background:
       Born and raised on the U.S.S. Pillar of Autumn, Joseph has led a
       rather sheltered life. From early childhood on, he had always
       aspired to join Starfleet, to be like his mother and father. At
       the age of 9 he had hacked in to the LCARS system on the Pillar
       of Autumn and transferred the Defensive system controls to his
       own PADD, wreaking havoc in the asteroid field they were in.
       destroying several asteroids and ****ing off the local mining
       crews.
       Four years later he got in to trouble with his father again. He
       had reprogrammed the EMH in sickbay, changing both the physical
       projection as well as the EMH's personality matrix, turning it
       in to a sexy female doctor. He learned the birds and the bees
       from the program over a period of several days and a couple of
       close calls. It wasn't until an actual emergency was called and
       the EMH was needed that he was caught.
       At the 16 Joseph left for Starfleet Academy. Having spent his
       entire life on the bleeding edge with his father on the Pillar
       of Autumn, Joseph excelled in shipboard tactics and defense. His
       weapon proficiencies were top of his class, even with ship
       mounted weapon systems.
       After graduating from the Academy he was immediately assigned
       to the U.S.S. Pillar of Autumn, in no due part to his fathers
       influence. After having served aboard it for two years, Joseph
       found his mother in command of the U.S.S. Veroto and requested a
       transfer, from his father's superior officer, knowing that he
       would never of gotten it from his father.
