       Personality: Shes a very sensual woman and she knows it. Mara is
       a very old soul, kind and gentel. Wise beyond her years. She is
       always there with a shoulder to cry on, wise advice, or a
       reassuring gesture. She is very sure of herself and her body.

       Mara was a young girl when her father sold her in to slavery.
       She was brought to an auction where she was then purchased by a
       Romulan named Commander Tammonik. . She soon found out that this
       Romulan was part of the Tal Shiar. (Telloks father). He
       conducted experiments on Mara testing medications he brought
       back from missions on her to see what they would do. He left her
       barren unable to conceive children and also left her with a
       condition that causes her joints to ache and burn. He would put
       her into sensory deprivation tanks then subject her intense
       lights and sounds, she has loss some sight and hearing because
       of this. Sometimes he would take her with him on missions but
       mostly he would lock her up in a cage with minimal food and
       water and leave her for weeks at a time. Mara learned how to
       survive on what she was given and to ration her food and water
       to live. When he would get mad at her for not submitting fully
       to him he would beat her and cut her. She has multiple scars all
       over her body. Mara is still very skittish of men when they get
       mad. She served him for 5 years before he grew tired of her and
       sold her to an Orion leader. She bounced around from master to
       master until a member of the Orion woman's freedom movement
       intercepted her and 10 other woman on the way to auction and
       brought them to a planet. They lived in peace and Mara learned
       to let go of the past and live in the present while looking
       forward to the future she still speaks to a counselor every week
       to help her deal with her issues. When Baj saved her she fell in
       love with him he was the first man to treat her the way a woman
       deserved.
       After killing Baj's father, Mara and Baj were married by Kira
       Phaserman on the USS Veroto-A
