No backup at all, against a crappy island with crap
environmental effects.
Good thing I brought Hoverthrusters. So Shade and Code will
start scouting, while the rest of us sit tight? Wouldn't it be
alright if we scouted more of our starting area?

Question: What would happen if I missed with a nuke?

Of course you can scout more of it. Try to find some other
VLT's and any other hidden surprises in the area.
If you missed with a nuke I would roll randomly to see which hex
it impacted, in a line along your attack vector, out to maximum
of your distant range.

Perhaps we can compromise to a degree with the earlier plan.
I'm tempted to scout this zone with the Razor, though stick
fairly close to the main team, allowing you two to scout further
out. This has another purpose in potentially hiding behind a
rock ridge, then jumping out after any attackers have spent
their turn to counter attack them, rather than present myself as
an immediate target seeing as we're really screwed as far as
those PR cloaks we got here...

Doing the math, I can move 177ish hexes per turn. So that
should be good enough to check out that area to the North that
we can't see into. For now I won't bother being on the ground.

Fly too fast and you'll miss things.
Scouting is about the slow and steady investigation. Not the
rapid flyby.

Well it's well within my range to fly back in an emergency, is
my point. On my way out I'll definitely go slower.

By all means feel free to scout around the starting zone, I'm
guessing that the first zone that me and Code will begin
exploring is the center zone, and probably run into several
other players.

That could work. Razor may function as conventional scouting,
and me and Shade can go on Fetch-Quests!.
