Top 10 Wrestlers:
1) Bianca (10-3) (-) === Barely hanging onto her top spot since
the last one just over a month ago, Bianca has picked up 2 more
victories while also adding a loss. She has made quite the name
for herself in her young US career and doesn't look like she
will be dethroned any time soon... Well that is unless our #2
wrestler has anything to say about that!
2) Ling (7-1) (+2) === Jumping up 2 spots this time around, Ling
has been on quite the impressive win streak after losing to
Reese a little while ago - picking up 6 wins in a row! With this
trend, it certainly seems like Ling is on the verge of taking
the top spot in the power rankings and becoming the wrestler to
beat! Let's hope this continues for her heading into the
tournament just a month away!
3) Ashley (6-0) (+1) === Ashley moves up a spot and remains
undefeated this second half of the season, further proving why
she was last season's champion. Looking forward to next month to
defend her title, she does seem to have some tough competition
this time around. Her only match recently was a round 2 forfeit
against Terri which continues to be a struggle for the champ
when it comes to find matches.
4) Terri (7-8) (+2) === Going 2-3 since the last power rankings,
Terri has moved up due to some inactivity with the other
wrestlers who were ranked above her last time around. Hovering
around .500 still, it is hard to figure out if Terri is going to
be a top 5 or even top 10 wrestler but for now, she remains
here!
5) Alexa (4-2) (NR) === Our first new wrestler in the top 10,
Alexa had just missed out last time around and she has certainly
made sure she was a part of it this time. So far she has been on
a trend with winning 2 then losing 2 then winning 2, but she has
been making sure the other wrestlers know who she is, especially
when going up against other girls like Elizabeth or Heather.
Welcome to the top 5!
6) Elizabeth (8-10) (+1) === Speaking of Elizabeth, she moves up
one spot since last time. Just like Terri, she has also gone 2-3
since the last power rankings but does seem she can hang with
just about anyone. She has also become one of our most active
wrestlers in the group, taking on just about anyone which shows
that she is not afraid of who she goes up against!
7) Cassie (5-0) (-5) === Inactivity has been the reason for such
a steep drop. When active, she was one of the best wrestlers so
far this season. Maybe she is just saving her energy for next
month's tournament. But for now, as long as she remains MIA, she
will continue to drop in the power rankings.
8) Heather (6-5) (-3) === Another wrestler who has unfortunately
been away for a while as well, Heather used to be one of the top
wrestlers in the first half of this season and even last season.
But like with Cassie, the inactivity is starting to hurt her
ranking. She did however pick up a match but wound up losing in
it against Ash. Maybe we'll see the Red Queen make a return
soon!
9) Reese (3-3) (NR) === Our second newcomer to the list, Reese
also missed being in the power rankings last time. She has
picked up some impressive wins over Bianca, Ling, and Alex which
does show that this little girl can go toe to toe with anyone.
She's currently on a win streak, beating those three
aforementioned girls and has recently returned, looking to
continue it!
10) Amira (3-1) (-2) === After starting 3-0, she finally met her
match as she took on our #1 wrestler, Bianca, and wound up
losing. Though a close score, it is the first blemish on her
record but she will look to keep it as the only one. A bounce
back victory is all that she needs to catapult her back up in
the power rankings as she is no stranger to being in the top 5!
