Hey RLSH and the rest :)
       I'm the new guy.
I hail from the rainy rocks known as Scotland. I am not an RLSH.
I am currently working a blue collar job and I am former
infantry. I have known about the RLSH movement for a bit now, I
love the Kickass films, read a book called 'Heroes in the Night'
a few years ago in Afghan and I read some fictional book (based
on an actual RLSH) called Knighthood. Like my DC and Marvel.
Like Nightwing. So yeah, I'm a fanboy.
If I had an RLSH aspiration, I want to be someone like
       Knighthood.
I have come here to learn. I intend to become an RLSH early next
year, my plan is to train hard, I keep myself in decent
condition but I want to be better. On top of this, I want to
develop my detective skills. I don't know quite how to go about
this but I am sure I'll figure something out. Open to
       suggestions though.
As for my username, just a username. I don't know what my RLSH
name will be yet, or even if I will bother with one.
       Tanks for having me!

Welcome aboard! Kick-Ass was an inspiration to an entire
generation of RLSH, but did you know that some of the characters
in the films were based on RLSH that were active at the time?
Glad to hear you took your time getting to know the community a
bit, and military experience is a definite advantage whether you
choose to conduct crime patrols, community service, or both.
What are you thinking you would like to accomplish?

Hi, thanks for the welcome Gauge.
I actually didn't know that, I thought I knew all the Kickass
trivia. I actually pride myself on being a bit of a comic-book
       nerd!
As for my goals, I'm still in the planning stage right now but I
am leaning towards the crime prevention side of things. I feel
I'd be more useful in that line of work. Maybe a little on the
       community outreach too.
My game plan, so far, is an 'Observe and Report' , probably in a
strategic out of sight location. Intervention will be a posture
I will only adopt in extreme situations. Like such cases that
the Police can't get there fast enough. I have a fair bit of
experience in reconnaissance so I am sure I could adapt it to be
       useful for the RLSH role.
I may 'suit up' for the community outreach work. I've watched
videos on youtube when the costumed Heroes do this stuff. The
suits really break down barriers and highlights the issue so I
       can see the benefit.
As for my own RLSH suit, I've no idea what i'll do for it. I
like KnightHood's approach of wearing a mask wrapped up like a
hat. I may adapt this method to suit my own way of doing the
RLSH role. Anyhow, the suit is months away yet, I have to
develop my priorities of finess and surveillance first :)

You wouldn't believe how often folks jump into active crime
prevention before they're ready, so it's cool to see that you've
thought it out like this and are getting there gradually.
I've always thought the roll-up mask was a great idea. Easy on
for intervening, but easy off if you encounter police.

Yeah, last thing I want to do is do this half-cocked.
I'm excited but I'm going to do this properly. Thanks again
       Gauge.

Hi Fish, welcome to the forum.
The only other RLSH I know operating in Scotland is Star Knight.
There's a couple manuals for RLSH I could link for you, by Night
       Rider and Knight Owl.

If you have any other questions, let me know, I'm a wizard at
       research.
In the meantime, feel free to check out the other threads, don't
worry about necro-bumping, we need the action, lol.
