Is Robert based on any robot in particular? He reminds me of
some of the robots from the books I read when I was at school,
like "Robots: Fact, Fiction, and Prediction", by Jasia
Reichardt, and "Robots, robots, robots", by Harry M. Geduld and
Ronald Gottesman.
I was thinking of Leachim, the teaching robot, but that wasn't
it...

He's a Iconic design a lot of which was dictated by the
materials I had available to me the 1st time I built him. He has
been through several rebuilds with me making improvements as my
skills improved and materials became available. At this point in
time he can be remotely accessed using team viewer or any desk
by anyone with a computer that has the passwords. In times past
he has exposed child abuse and done other good deeds. 1 of the
more important aspects about him is that no mater what happens
to him I can repair or recreate him as I made him from scratch.
A advantage that those who just buy off of places like E B A Y
will never have.

In addition to Robert we have a Spykee bot that shows what can
be done on line using Arduino tech . By combining the 2 anything
we want can be operated any where in the world by any one in the
world that has access. Now Internet Groups can act together
without having to be present in the same location. Kind of
boggles the mind doesn't it. This is my Spykee demo taken in the
Old Unreality Lab location.

What you said reminded me of The Spiders, an old webcomic with
an alternate history where War On Terror-period Afghanistan is
invaded by the Internet, using chatty spider-like drones.
