Robots were my jam when I was little. I used to read all the
       school library's books on them.
I looked up a couple of the bots I used to read about, someone
found Tinker, the car wash robot, stored away somewhere.

And they found The Senster, the three-legged "moving sculpture"
that would "see" and hear people with radar and microphones and
react to them, even get startled if they moved too fast. It's
standing in a field now, as a sculpture of the non-moving
       variety.

Some students built their own working model.

       El Wray,
Glad to see someone besides me with a interest in robotics . I
think it and the tech that comes with it can solve many of the
world's problems. As a example when 1 1st gave Robert Speech
Combining some programs I had I used a Commodore 64 which cost
35 bucks 2nd hand. At the time Dr. Steven Hawkins had a device
that let him do the same thing. His device cost 10 grand. For
folks that need such a device 35 bucks is a lot easier to come
by than 10 grand. I gave the program away along with a source
for C64s and the means to duplicate the program to impact which
was the local group helping the handicapped. Imagine how
telepresence can help the handicapped and remove the risk factor
from RLSH types. We have a yahoo group site spot on the Lab web
site where you can hook in if you want to and exchange and down
load files. Its unlisted so yahoo doesn't even know it's there.
If you need help getting in let me know.
       Superman
