FOR EMBER/THYME and HEX/FAUST: As the match goes on, the crowd
has stopped cheering and are now cheering for individual
fighters. Because the two of you are so focused on the match and
the fight, you barely notice. Roughly half the crowd are
cheering for Ember, while the other half are cheering for Hex.
As Ember begins to push Hex back, the cheering gets even louder,
some members of the crowd going "Ohhhhhhhh!" as Hex is pushed
further back right to the edge of the mat, where he comes to a
stop. Half the crowd go "Ohhh....", obviously disappointed that
Ember wasn't able to finish the match then and there, while the
other half are cheering even louder, happy that Hex was able to
just hang on, and the crowd gets ready for the competitors to
       make their next move.
Hex, you let out a flurry of hoof blows, some hitting its mark,
a satisfying thud emanating from Ember's body, while others
miss, the only sound you get is a gush of wind rushing past your
hoof as you punch the empty space that is air. You notice Ember
charging you too late, missing your attack and you're pushed
back. You manage to catch yourself just at the edge of the rug,
but another attack like this would mean the end of the match.
(You are pushed back 10 feet)
Ember, for the next few seconds, all you can feel is punch after
punch. Luckily you are able to dodge out of the way of some
attacks. As you prepare to bull rush, you channel the pain from
the attacks into giving you more power to push him back, and so
you charge him, pushing and pushing against Hex. Before you can
end the match, Hex manages to secure a foothold right on the
edge of the mat. (You take 3 bludgeoning damage)
((All damage is lethal damage, not non-lethal))
       [hr]
FOR CLAIR/PLO AND IRON: Your group tries to continue watching
the match, but from where you are and the volume of the crowd,
its a bit difficult to see the details of the match. All you
have to indicate something happening in the match is the crowd
and the just barely audible *thud* of a successful punch.
Iron, from the corner of your eye, you can see the bartender
occasionally keeping an eye at your table, watching your group,
but from what you can tell, focusing mainly on Clair and the
       waitress.
Clair, as you make your comment and nuzzle the waitress'
shoulder, she initially recoils, not used to having something
like this happen. But soon she comes to accept it, and after a
few moments of the nuzzle, she breaks away. "Interested in me?
I'm just a waitress, I doubt anypony would find me
interesting..." she says, trailing off at the last part.
Although you can't see it, she is heavily blushing, flattered by
       your 'smooth' talking and actions.

"Just a waitress? You say that like a waitress has to be
boring. And if you can't imagine anypony being interested,
well, I'm not just anypony, now, am I?" Clair starts reaching
for his mug again but remembers it's empty, so he leaves it.
"And I daresay neither are you, are you?"

Ember jumps backward away from Hex's attempt to grab her, a
toothy grin forming on her face at the sound of the audience
cheering. She gives a shout and rushes forward again, hoping to
push the earth pony off the edge of the rug to secure the win.

Spotting that the bartender was watching them, or at the very
least, Clair and the waitress, Iron shifted his own attention to
the pair of them, wondering if he should tell the waitress to
return to work or something. He certainly didn't want to anger
the bartender. For the moment though, he left it, figuring he'd
       say something if anything changed.

FOR EMBER/THYME and HEX/FAUST: As the battle nears its end, the
crowd's cheering is even louder than before.
Hex, despite being thrown off-balance by the push, you make try
to make an attempt to grapple Ember, but unfortunately you
completely miss, as she ducks under you. After that, all you can
feel is the force of yet another push, courtesy of Ember. The
whole thing is a blur to you, as you first feel the push, then
you see yourself off the mat, but it doesn't stop there, as you
realize that you're on your way off the stage. You try to catch
your footing back on solid ground, but you're unable to, as you
find yourself now falling off the stage, and in the next
instant, you find yourself on the ground on your back.
Ember, after successfully dodging Hex's grapple, you feel some
kind of surge course through your body as you charge at Hex with
every bit of strength that you have. In doing so, you manage to
push Hex right off not only the mat, but also off the stage, and
you can see him landing on the ground on his back with a *thud*.
After all is said and done, there is a brief pause of silence
from the crowd, before they all go wild, cheering out Ember's
name over and over again. Soon after a waitress takes center
stage, calling for some quiet in the crowd. "Thank you, thank
you! Our final match of the night will be Ember against our
resident champion, Fury!" she says, followed by a large cheer
from the crowd. "Our match will begin in five minutes, so be
ready!" she says before heading off. A few members of the crowd
head off to their seats after this.
       [hr]
FOR CLAIR/PLO AND IRON: Even from where you are sitting, you can
easily see and hear Hex get knocked off the stage.
Iron, you can see now that the bartender is definitely focusing
his attention on your group, more specifically Clair and the
waitress. You can see he has a somewhat serious look on his
face, but he doesn't seem to be making any kind of move.
Clair, after you say your piece, there is a bit of a silence
from the waitress, before you hear her voice once again.
"Thats... not what I meant when I said that..." she says. You
may not be able to see her, but you can tell from the tone of
her voice that she sounded somewhat disheartened.

"Well, what did you mean then?" Clair shakes his head with a
grin. "Regardless, I assure you that I'm quite interested in
you," he says, reaching out to squeeze her flank.

Ember heads off to the side of the stage to collect her
equipment after the match. Five minutes isn't much time for a
rest, so unfortunately she won't be able to give her best for
the match with Fury. Still, if she can get him to agree to
rapiers she should be able to put up a good fight. While she
waits, the phoenix wolf looks around the tavern a bit, glancing
at the crowd and then turning her attention toward the corner
booth where the hooded ponies had been.
