Nivalia chuckles, "Well I'll certainly keep that in mind layer
down the road, officer. For now though I just need someone
subtle. One who can spot the early signs of a perpetrator and
deflect their actions before they do anything. Someone quiet,
observant, and that I can trust." She looks over to the orange
unicorn. "Someone like you, Tinder."

Tinder watches Broadshield walk away, wondering what is so
important. She tries to hear what he says, frowning as she
realizes he's too far away. As she hears Niv say her name she
looks over in confusion, taking a second to piece together what
she had said before replying, "Me? I can get you into contact
with ponies who have my skills, but a better reputation. I'm not
someone you want working for you, it'll give your shop a bad
name. I know people though who would be a better choice."

Broadshield just continues to stand with the two mares,
pretending to listen, although he was just listening into his
earpiece for anything. "You could go with that option, but you
can always have soldiers from Equinox come and guard. I can
always have ponies from the recon unit, who are trained to be
subtle, yet deadly when it comes to perpetrators. If you are
worried about your reputation, you'll be hiring ponies that, as
far as ponies are aware, are the royal guard, and have a very
good reputation. I'm not pressuring you into making a choice,
but I just want to leave that option out there for you." he says
to Nivalia

my friends assisting. We could hang out more." The changeling
looks hopeful, and rather excited. "Besides, I need a local
resident to show me all the sights."

Tinder looks at her, thinking about it for a second before
nodding, "If you really think you want me here, then I'll join.
I'd love to work with you. I'm just worried about the reputation
your store will get with me working here, I don't want to give
you a bad name.."

"Oh nonsense dear. A worker's performance speaks for itself.
Speaking of which... Blueberry!"
"What?" the mare in question shouts as she pops her head out the
door.
"Get a starter packet! We got another girl on board!" Nivalia
answers. Blueberry nods and leaves, returning with a folder.
"Tinder, this packet will detail the employee handbook, worker
responsibilities, yada yada yada. There are forms you can fill
out for full medical, life, dental, vision, and other insurance
coverage. You'll be starting out at 15 bits an hour. Scheduling
we'll work out tomorrow. Any questions?"

Tinder stares wide eyed at the folder, listening to Niv as she
says what's inside. "Uh, I.. I don't think so. It's been a while
since I had an actual job, thank you." She starts flicking
through the folder slowly, though due to her quite low reading
level she doesn't understand much of it. "I'll find someone to
help me fill it all out later, really thank you for this
opportunity."

"Oh Tinder, don't mention it." Nivalia smiles. Blueberry
returns, looking rather frantic. "Hey Blue, what's up?"
"Sorry to bother you Niv, but things are really picking up here
at the front and we need some help."
"Say no more, I'll be there in a minute." Blueberry nods and
trots back to the front of the store. "Sorry you two, but duty
calls. Tinder, stop by tomorrow morning so we can get the
details sorted out. Broadshield, stop by after hours so we can
get to the nitty gritty."

Tinder nods and waves at Niv as she walks away, "Alright! I'll
try to remember!" She gently lays the folder in her bag and
smiles, a real job, it's been a long time. She giggles nervously
and looks at Broad, patting his shoulder before heading out, "I
gotta go, need to find someone to read this to me! I'll see you
around I'm sure."
She heads back into the store, picking a small cactus and buying
it for her apartment before walking out. She makes her way
towards home, figuring she'd get help with the folder later.

"Congratulations on the job Tinder! I'm sure you'll do well.
I'll pass by later Nivalia and we can finalise everything as
needed." he says to the two. Soon, more activity from his
earpiece. "Sir, we need you at base."
"Alright, I'm coming." he says into his earpiece. "With that, I
should head off. Good luck." he says, leaving.
