General Forum Rules

Greetings and salutations everyone! Welcome to Unknown Frontier!
For a seamless run through the rules and overall workings of the
site, please use the “Click Here” links to move to the next
section
Unknown Frontier is a site dedicated to creating memorable tales
with friends new and old. While primarily a roleplay site for My
Little Pony, Unknown Frontier has changed to allow for more
general roleplay across any franchise, setting, etc. Regardless
of where you roleplay, be mindful and courteous to your fellow
writers. If you have any questions, feel free to ask an
Administrator for answers.
The Administrators are Foxtrot and Checkmate.
Our main communication platform is Discord. To request access to
or chat group, be sure to message an Admin for an invitation
link.
There are three main sections of Unknown Frontier:
HUB - Rules and Information, Extras, Character Books
Equestria - My Little Pony Roleplay
Universal - Anything not My Little Pony
There will be further explanation of each “Section” of the site,
as well as the time period/technology for the MLP RP in the next
page, but here are general rules of thumb no matter where you
are:
HARASSMENT, ASSAULT, THREATS, ETC WILL NOT BE TOLERATED! If you
are receiving any of these, please report as soon as possible.
Do not claim characters without administrative permission! This
applies more so for our MLP section. Writers can claim canon
characters for Universal RP (does not count for MLP characters,
still need permission for those) as long as they stay within
character and is accepted by those RPing with that character.
Do not bring Universal RP characters into MLP RP. Most will be
familiar with the MLP setting, but few may know of that specific
franchise you’re RPing with. Crossover RPs are allowed but will
not be considered canon to the MLP section. You can bring your
MLP OCs (and even canon characters) to Universal RPs. However,
as stated before, this will only be canon in relative to that
RP. No having Mr./Mrs./Ms. Pony go on an adventure with Dr. Who
and they return back to Ponyville with a Sonic Screwdriver.
Your character may only be in one thread at a time. This applies
to both MLP and Universal RP. The only exception is having an
MLP character in a crossover RP as well as an MLP RP since the
crossover is noncanon to the MLP section. Even then, your
character can’t be in multiple threads per section.
Shipping (romantically pairing characters) between OCs and/or
Characters must have the consent of both parties.
Threads, Character Bios, really any thread that may have adult
or sensitive content MUST be disclaimed in the thread title.
No godmodding. During fights, you only control your character
unless given permission by the other writer; the other writer
dictates how their character reacts to your action. Be fair, be
civil.
