"Huh, so it's really uncharted territory." Fox answers as he
nearly finishes the light breakfast. Taking his last bite, he
switches over to his coffee and works on that. "Well Colonel,
I'm set to go whenever you are."

"Then let's get started." The Colonel got up and motioned for
Foxtrot to follow him back to the same area. This time, it was a
locker room. There was almost like a space suit in one of the
larger lockers. "Get this on, it will protect you should that
asteroid react violently. I will meet you outside in Mission
Control, the place you met me yesterday." Jennings walked out,

"Alright, I'll see you there." Foxtrot nods as he enters the
locker room. Scanning the suit, he takes a deep breath and
changes his attire. "Huh, this isn't so bad. I mean, how many
ponies can say they're helping investigate an asteroid up
close?" Within minutes he finally plops on the helmet and makes
his way towards Mission Control. Once there he makes his way to
the Colonel. "Ok, suited up and ready to go."

"Okay he's ready." Brian said to the scientist who rotted over
to him and checked his suit over before leading him to a large
metal door. After putting his hoof on the scanner and his eye on
a separate scanner, a small panel opened and the stallion had to
punch in a code. The doors began to slowly slide open as the red
lights when off inside before closing behind Fox. He was in a
small hallway with another door at the end which slowly opened
as well. He was now in an empty room illuminated by strong
lights.
"Okay Fox. You should be able to hear me through your suit. Am I
coming in clear?"

"Loud and clear Colonel."Foxtrot answers, looking around to take
in the environment. His heart began to slightly beat faster, a
striking sense of excitement taking hold. "Alright, where do you
need me to go?"

"Walk towards the asteroid slowly and place your hooves about a
foot away from it and stand up on your hind hooves." The Colonel
watched through the window. "Easy now."

Foxtrot follows the Colonel's directions, soon coming face to
face with the celestial object. Standing up, he points his front
hoofs towards it. He remains still and silent afterward add he
waits for further instruction. His heartbeat faintly quickens,
the unknown of what will happen stirring both excitement, and
tension.

"Okay, start low, as if you are trying to pick it up, surround
the asteroid in your magic aura. I will have you increase in
power as the scientists observe the readings." Jennings eyes
kept darting up towards the monitors then back to Fox.trot as he
bit his lip.

Foxtrot nods as he concentrates, his pupils glowing white as his
outstretched hoofs do the same. The magical aura begins to
slowly engulf the asteroid. Within minutes the entire thing is
surrounded by a thin coat of magic. From there he steadily
increases the flow of energy into the celestial object.

The control room fell silent before the monitors began to show
something new. It was reacting with the asteroid.
"Fox, increase your power just a little bit, we are picking up
on something!" The Colonel said keeping an eye on the monitor.
He turned his mic off and bit his lip. "That asteroid is getting
charged by his powers..."
