DIR By: Morgan Lockett
Date: July 25, 2016, 11:47 am
---------------------------------------------------------
Morgan galloped as fast as she could past Rainbow Dash and the
rest of the ponies upstairs. The dim light of the torches could
not stretch far enough to see where she galloped towards in the
house, but it was back towards the main entrance to the other
side of the house. Soon, her hoof steps went silent. The power
had not come back on yet.

Brash groans as nopony seems intent on following her without
having a talk among themselves first. She turns back to the
group and waits for their conclusion, but as she does so Morgan
darts past the group. "Hold on!" Brash yells but not to Morgan,
"Nopony chase her." Brash looks to the staircase, "Looks like
our murderer is downstairs." She grabs a nearby chair, "She's
probably the only survivor. So let's block them off and we'll be
good to get ourselves some food." Brash drags the chair over and
readies to push it down.

Ocean tilts his head with a puzzled expression towards Brash.
"Isn't that jumping to quite a few conclusions? We would have
heard much more blood curdling screams of anguish and pain if
the others were dead." Ocean says as he walks towards Brash,
putting his hoof on his shoulder. "Either way, I need some food.
I have a big comp in a week and I could really use some carbs."

Tinder runs over to Caleb and tries to grab the collar of his
shirt and pull him up against the wall, using her magic to help
out. She is clearly angry as she speaks, "I swear, if you just
put my friend in danger, those aren't going to be the only
murders here tonight.."

Re: Dinner
DIR By: Applejack
Date: July 27, 2016, 12:22 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
Applejack frowned, attempting to tune in towards the
conversation downstairs while keeping a close, watchful eye on
Brash. She wasn't quite sure what the filly had in mind
considering her sudden interest in food, but as far as Applejack
was concerned, Brash was under her charge. It couldn't be all
bad, right? After all, if Applejack could watch over somepony as
rambunctious as Applebloom and her friends with their Crusade
shenanigans, she could very well be prepared for anything...
Right?
Clarity's movements caught her attention before she managed to
finish her train of thought, not hearing most of what she said.
At first, Applejack was confused, curious as to why the mare was
trying to move the young stallion she was wrapped around. It was
only when he reluctantly shuffled over and leaned against the
orange mare that Applejack finally understood what she was
doing. "B-but-" she tried to squeeze out in unison with Clair,
now standing at full attention as she glanced down at the young
stallion. She had noticed his eyes before, but it didn't quite
dawn upon her as to why until now. "You can count on me, ma'am!"
she proclaims as the mare disappears down the passageway.
Applejack wrapped a hoof gently around Clair, pulling him close
against her before glancing down at him once more. Well I'll
be... Handlin' a young'n like Brash is one thing, but this?
Applejack turned her attention towards Brash again. This is
gonna take some even more precaution...
She tunes her ears towards Rainbow Dash, now more inclined to go
with Brash's idea now that Applejack had an extra charge to look
after. It would be easier to look after both of them, after all,
and she could trust Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy to help if it
came right down to it. She turns to acknowledge Dash, but is cut
off by the sudden absence of power, the commotion downstairs,
and the fleeing Morgan.
"What in tarnation!" she exclaims, keeping a firm hold around
Clair. "Don't go by yourself!"
But it was already too late as Morgan disappeared from view...
Applejack curses under her breath. Her first reaction would have
been to run after her, or alternatively, run downstairs to see
what was going on. She had her hooves tied, however, and instead
trained her vision on Brash and the other stallion that spoke
soon after.
"First off, that conclusion ain't even proper. Second off, we
ain't pushin' things down the stairs. That won't do us any good.
Third off, why in blue blazin' saddles are ya'll so concerned
about food at a time like this? For all we know, darn near
anything in this place could be a trap. And for the love of
Celestia, don't go runnin' off by yourself like that mare just
did..." She pauses with a sigh, shaking her head. "I have a
feelin' that we'll be seeing her later in... less than pleasing
circumstances..."

Trixie, ready to take the lead in front of Caleb to solidify a
good spot in the narrative taking place, was relieved when
Tinder pulled him away. Now she could take a more comfortable
trot up the stairs, beginning her way up she remarks, "This
isn't exactly the sort of time one should be threatening lives,
a short temper might see suspicions fall upon it. We should
regroup with the others and decide what to do next." Trixie
brings her light spell to a more comfortable level as she
proceeds upwards.

Caleb could really see the anger in Tinder's eyes as he was
pinned against the wall. She had completely caught him off
guard.
"Will you calm down, like Trixie said, making threats at times
like this seems inappropriate. I'd watch it." She released
himself from her grip and followed Trixie up the stairs.

Clarity waits for Caleb to get out from between Tinder and the
wall before approaching the orange mare from behind. "Y'know, I
personally don't think you were the one behind this, but I'm
reconsidering after what you just said. As far as I remember,
you were the first one to make an outright threat to anypony
tonight," she says quietly. "If you are the killer, careful.
You tread dangerous ground." After delivering that line, she
dashes for the stairs and runs up as quickly as she can, in case
the other mare decides to change the target of her
aggression...violently.

Tinder grits her teeth as Caleb escapes her grasp, not
appreciating the comments the three made to her. She lets
everyone go up the stairs first, staying downstairs for a bit to
calm down and take a few pills. She grabs the little black book
of all the bad things that David had done if no one else has it,
and finally made her way upstairs once she had calmed out.
Flicking through the book and tearing out the pages related to
her.
