Ocean slowly got back up, looking cautiously around the room.
"Okay, this is seriously messed up. I mean I kinda wanted David
dead, but not like this." Ocean said as he walked towards the
large group surrounding David. "I think we should set some
ground rules for how tonight is going to go down. Because until
the weather lets up outside, we're all trapped."

Caleb fixed his hat. He then saw something on the shelf and
galloped towards it. "Guys you might wanna see this." If
everypony looked, there would be a gun on the shelf attached to
a timer. "Looks like the murderer had everything set for David's
murder but the mayor got in the way. So... he or she waited till
the power was out before trying to finish the job... But who
would have a motive or a reason to kill David?"

Fluttershy moved out of range of the gun and stood up when Caleb
spoke about motives. "Well... technically all of us do." She
said softly. "He did bring us all here to make amends with us.
We all seemed pretty angry at him when we saw him too because he
wronged us all before. Whoever did it... well, I guess... maybe
David has wronged him or her more than anypony else."

"Well, I know I said no pointing hooves, but I know somepony
here that definitely was wronged by David." She pointed at
       Caleb. "Caleb Weaver."

Caleb jumped when Morgan accused him. "Alright fine! Yes I had a
reason to hate David! I was going to get a contract to play for
the Canterlot Royals! But David snuck onto the practice field
one day when I was by myself and changed the aim of the ball
machine when I was practicing batting! The damn machine shot a
ball into my groin and he got it on tape! Then he went on talks
shows and radio stations and humiliated me and turned me into a
viral joke! The Royals tore the contract up and sent me back to
Ponyville! That was my one chance at redeeming my career! Yes I
hate David for that, but I didn't want to kill the poor guy! I
have a career reputation, I'm not throwing away my baseball life
to go to jail for murder. If anything, I think Fluttershy hates
       him more than I do."

Fluttershy gasped when Caleb accused her. She tried her best to
shout, though it was still quiet. "Ok... Well... I had gotten a
fake letter that I was needed us a guest speaker in a school
about the importance of caring for animals... Of course I
went... but it turned out David had tricked me and put me in a
pegasus flyers camp where they wouldn't let me leave! I... am
not a strong flyer... and they were all teasing me and making
fun of me... It was horrible." Her eyes began to water. "I
hat-....was angry at him for a very...very...very long time...
but I couldn't kill him.. I... am an element of harmony..." She
said the last part really quietly behind her sobs before wiping
them away and looking angry at Clair and Clarity. "What about
those two? I overheard them talking about how much they hated
David..." She was eager to get the attention off of her.
(This is supposed to all go around. The reasons can be silly or
serious. Please wait for somepony to accuse you first before
       posting.)

       Re: Dinner
By: Clarity Date: June 20, 2016, 11:59 pm
       ---------------------------------------------------------
Clarity has regained much of her composure from the incident
with the lights going out, though the chair leg hasn't left her
side. She has torn a strip of her dress off and is tying it in
a bandage around her brother's leg. She scoffs haughtily at
Fluttershy's accusation. "Defamation will get you nowhere, Miss
Shy," she shoots back calmly. Clair is playing with her belt,
which is tied in a big bow on the back. "And little Clair here
would never hurt a fly, would you, Clair?" She bends down to
give his neck a nuzzle, and he blushes. "I, on the other
       hoof..."
Clarity finishes tying the bandage and gives his leg a rub,
straightening. "David is a slime and slug of the worst caliber.
I was booked to perform at a function hosted by him," she
spits, "but when it came time for me to perform...I was
delayed!! Without consulting me, without informing me, he made
me wait!!!" She's practically frothing at the mouth, her
vitriol giving even the storm outside pause. "And as if that by
itself wasn't bad enough, when I got home, I...I..." Clarity's
manner changes from wrath to mourning in the space of a few
words as she tears up. "I f-found C-c-clair...asleep!
Without...without sup-p-per!!!" she bawls, face in her hooves,
her next sentence coming in a bit garbled but still
understandable. "Th-that v-v-v-villain made m-m-me late to fix
p-p-p-p-p-precious little Clair his supper, so he had t-t-t-t-to
       sleep without iiiiit!"
Clair pats her on the back, giving a little "There, there" as
she sobs until snapping up straight, her tears not even having
messed up her makeup. "But no. I did not kill him...though he
deserved it and more." Her calm demeanor is back. "Who did? I
would put money down that it was..." She whips the chair leg
into her hoof, pointing it at Morgan. "Her!! I don't know why,
but she must have a reason. All of us might. But how many
among us have actually killed somepony at some point? Who among
us other than her is paid to do so, working death to make a
living in the military, all without repercussion!!?!??"

       Re: Dinner
By: Applejack Date: June 21, 2016, 12:37 am
       ---------------------------------------------------------
       Perfect... Juuuust perfect...
Applejack slowly marched her way up the marked trail, clenching
a piece of frayed rope between her teeth as she dragged a rather
beaten up, tarp-tied cart behind her. She snorted out of
frustration, glancing up towards the elegant mansion with a look
of disdain that would make a grown manticore cry. The orange
mare was so close, yet so far, and the weather was only growing
worse for wear as she struggled up the last part of the path.
The cart's old-fashioned wheels weren't made to withstand the
punishment of the road, and at this point, Applejack was afraid
she might have to consider abandoning it. Of course, none of
this would have ever been a problem if she hadn't of lost her
delivery wagon at the bridge. She was lucky that she wasn't
struck by lightning, but in the chaotic aftermath, the river had
already claimed her wagon with the exception of the sole cart
       she now lugged behind her.
Everythin' will be juuuuuust fine, she brooded to herself,
taking a moment to pull her stetson tightly around her head. If
Mr. Norman is truly sorry, he'll buy be a new wagon, dang
nabbit! Applejack never took any particular interest in that
mess of a stallion, but if he was man enough to stand up and
apologize, she might as well hear him out. In fact, Applejack
had turned the other cheek, baking a plethora of apple pies to
take with her and share. Nevermind that most of them were lost
to the river... She snorted again and shook her head. Perhaps
this was all just a bad idea after all. Well... At least it
       can't get any worse.
Applejack was completely, utterly soaked from head to hoof by
the time she reached the manor, shaking herself off with a sigh
of displeasure as she dropped the rope and trotted up to the
door. Was she supposed to knock? Perhaps a doorbell of sorts?
The mare hummed to herself, wringing out her hat as her tired,
green eyes scan over the door. With a shrug, Applejack moved to
knock, but the door swung generously open the moment she touched
it. The door had been left unlatched and wasn't quite closed all
the way... Odd, she thought, as she poked her head inside to see
if anypony was around. Pulling her cart of pies just inside, she
followed the sound of faint voices coming from up ahead. Or was
       that yelling?
"Uhh... Hello? Mr. Norman?" Applejack spoke louder than usual to
make her presence known before entering the room. "Hoo-boy, that
storm's somethin' fierce. Ain't gettin' much better either, ah'd
reckon. Anywho, I brought some of my apple pies if... anypony...
would..." The mare stopped short, completely frozen in place as
she took in the scene before her. Her heart skipped a beat,
fighting the urge to reel back out of the room in shock. It
just, in fact, had gotten much, much worse. "Oh my sweet
       Celestia! Wh-what happened!?"

Morgan took a step back and was completely fuming
"Fine! I hated David as much as all of you! He promised that
he's plan a real fancy dinner for Tinder and I but instead it
was a date with a really creepy stalker ex. That stallion took
forever to get him off my trail and he began to cling onto me
again. Thank Celestia I was able to cover my trail again.... But
I didn't kill David either! I am apart of a private group, we
get contracts for much larger issues not some douche bag
stallion. Besides, I am not that messy with my kills." She
pushed her glasses up. "And are we going to ignore that damn DJ
Pon-3? I know for a fact she hated him too!"

       Re: Dinner

       ---------------------------------------------------------
       "That DJ-Pon3?"
The punkish mare responded with now crossed forelegs and a
furrowed brow. "If I'd ever met you before I assume I might have
at least done something to you before getting that kind of
mentioning." she scoffed indignantly, popping the bud out if her
ear and letting it hang over the front of her dress. A tenseness
in her jaw rising as she spoke with casually gritted teeth.
"Challenge me to darts and I'll drag you through the gutter but
I'm just dyyying to here how I threw a knife, from across the
room I might add, and curved it around or over him perfectly
enough to stab him in the back? No, seriously. Please tell me
how the 'professional' would do it? let alone who else here
knows how to use what I assume was a gunshot between the cork
sound to kill the Celestia damn mayor!"
It was clear she was insulted by the address she was given but
that was nothing new to her. Her music and following was not
everyponie's cup of tea but being implicated in murder was
another thing entirely when there was no evidence to support the
claim. Even that would soften the blow as opposed to simply
being pointed at like it was gradeschool and saying 'She did
       it!'.
"Destroying my first album before it's release is one thing I
can at least make a joke about and make an epic remake of.
Driving my mar-!.... driving my friend to suicide with a broken
heart to get back at me for breaking up with him, is another
matter entirely. I'd have personally taken pride in killing him
more slowly then... that." she finished, gesturing at the knife
before looking towards Trixie. "You'll excuse me if I say this
whole thing seems like a magic trick."
