       Dinner
By: David Norman Date: June 6, 2016, 2:58 pm
       ---------------------------------------------------------
(No weapons or armies (Though specific OC’s from the
organizations are allowed)allowed in this thread. This is
supposed to be a fun thread that goes in the direction your
character’s actions. Any character can participate. NOTHING HERE
IS CANON. You may have a character here in this board while
still rping in the main threads.)
Everypony that will participate in this thread has received a
fancy invitation to a manor in in a fairly remote area in the
beautiful, lush woods near the East side of Equestria. The
invitation insists that it’s an apology dinner that they owe
you. As you arrive in whatever vehicle, you cross a stone bridge
and through a beautiful gate before seeing a beautiful mansion
perched right on the cliff beside a beautiful view of the ocean.
A mare welcomes you all in and helps you bring your things to
your rooms. (You can decide who is roommates among yourselves).
The mare requested that you meet downstairs after being settled,
and come in tuxedos and dresses for the dinner. Of course
everyone shows up looking nice and takes their seats in a
beautiful dining room, however, one chair is noticeably empty at
the head of the table. Another empty spot is beside it.
“Hello, everypony.” A soothing voice echoed from the shadows.
Out came out a stallion accompanied by the mare from earlier
“I’m glad to see you all could make it! Welcome to my manor.
(Okay so everyone participating in this thread hates this
stallion because he was a jerk, don’t state the reason just yet)
“You see I invited you all here because I have wronged every one
of you in the past. I want to make it up to you all. I have
become a new stallion thanks to my lovely wife. I also noticed
that many of you hold some significance and I want you all to be
able to meet each other. At least allow me to make it up to you
       all for the weekend.”

Adam had pulled up in his black jeep by himself as the mayor was
one of the first cars in the circular driveway.
The Mayor put on his black tuxedo, a change from his usual blue
suit and red tie. Afterwards he made his way down to dining room
and sat down before the voice caught his attention. He
       recognized that voice from anywhere.
"David Norman? I thought I told you I never wanted to see you
again!" West stood up pushing his chair back.

Caleb left his ball cap on but threw on his tux. This was worth
missing a few practices over. The stress of baseball has really
got to him and a vacation would be nice. The athlete made his
way downstairs and sat near the end of the table. He was keeping
to himself before suddenly seeing David and gritting his teeth.
"Why should we believe you Norman? You have hurt all of our
lives here one way or another!"

The NS soldier was off duty and arrived by parachute just for
fun. She dusted herself off and headed inside quickly to her
       room to get changed.
Morgan got into a red dress that she was given to by a friend.
It looked nice and meant a lot to her. She headed downstairs and
got seated before suddenly she saw a stallion that she never
thought she would see again. Not in a good way either.
“Piss off David. Don’t think I have forgiven you for all the
things you have done to me!”

Tinder reads over the invitation again as she walks to the house
that it directs her to, a small bag dragging behind her. She
heads up to the room she's directed to, tosses off her bag and
       fixes her old worn dress.
She heads downstairs and looks at the outfits of everyone that
is already seated, frowning a little as she looks down at her
own outfit, feeling a bit underdressed in her old yellow worn
out dress. She fixes it a bit to cover her bandages on her side
and plops down onto a chair. She looks up as she hears the
voice, it taking her a minute to remember who it it. As soon as
she recognises him she scrunches her nose and glares, this was
never a person who wanted to see.

       ---------------------------------------------------------
Carri Air, delivery mare, drops Brash off at the entrance to the
manor and takes off back to Ponyville, because she wasn't
       invited.
After being led upstairs and asked to dress nice, Brash slams
her door and studies the room. There isn't much time and Brash
didn't bring a dress, but she had to be sure she wouldn't be
denied her free dinner. She rips down the curtains from the
window and pulls some wire hangars from the closet, quickly
fashioning them into a dress, which to her credit looks somewhat
legit, so long as nopony takes a closer look.
She trips over her unmeasured makeshift dress, even tumbling
down the last few steps on the stairs. She notices she's late as
she enters the dining hall, a voice already addressing
everypony. Darting under the table she finds an empty seat and
climbs up onto it, pretending she's always been there.
Looking at the stallion that spoke, she doesn't give any
reaction to him, unlike some of the other guests.

       ---------------------------------------------------------
Clarity carried Clair to the manor herself. It does her good,
and was no bother for her. He's not heavy. He's her brother.
They didn't make the trek wearing their nice things, of course,
but those were carried as well. She's wearing a stunning purple
dress that shows her off in the best light possible, and he's in
a custom-fit black suit that sets off his white hair and eyes
perfectly. They're seated adjacent to each other at the table,
Clair's chair pulled from its original, more spaced position to
be directly up next to Clarity's. He's leaning his head against
her while she holds a hoof over his shoulder, pulling him
       against her.
"My my, please watch your tongue!" Clarity exclaims in response
to the red-dressed mare's profanity. "Delicate ears are
present!" She covers Clair's ears, though he seems none too
perturbed at the outburst. "And do stay civil. As much as we
dislike this...'stallion'," she continues, disgust oozing out of
her mouth when mentioning him, "he is attempting to make amends.
Surely...'he' deserves for us to at least hear...'him' out,"
she finishes, her tone laced with so much venom that a fake
plant in the corner wilts from exposure to it. Clair just nods
       along, apparently oblivious.

Ocean stepped across the stone bridge and walked up to the
manor's entrance. Not wanting to damage his nice tuxedo, he
decided against just flying up, hoping that the walk would be
able to help his leg strength for the upcoming Canterlot Classic
meet. Upon entering the manor, he started to scan the halls for
any sings of expensive pottery or jewelry. You know, for
research purposes. Arriving at the dining room, he chose a seat
nearby to Morgan and sat down.
As soon as David entered the room, Ocean stood straight up,
growling, "Piss off David." Listening to him talk, he not so
suttely muttered, "I call bullshit. After all the hoops I had to
jump through because of you, you're lucky I don't beat you to a
pulp. Your lucky that I really don't want to get blood on my
favourite tie." Pointing to his tie, which was emblasoned with a
beautiful picture of rolling waves. "So what's the catch David?
What do you get out of this?"

       ---------------------------------------------------------
Instead of taking some sort of vehicle, Rainbow Dash decided to
instead fly to the mansion. Finally arriving, she made her way
through the front door, greeting the mare at the entrance.
Choosing one of the guest rooms, she puts all of her stuff away,
and begins to get dressed into the dress she wore to the first
Grand Galloping Gala. As soon as she's ready, she makes her way
to the dining room, taking a seat next to the twins, saving a
seat for her friend, who she wasn't sure whether or not was
coming. It didn't hurt to be sure did it?
When David entered the room, Rainbow's mouth dropped agape. She
clearly wasn't expecting something like this happening.
Remembering who the stallion was and what he did, she nearly
flipped her plates and cutlery in anger, rage, and disgust.
"What the hell is this!? Is this some sick joke David!? I have
every right to zap you with every storm cloud Cloudsdale- no,
Equestria has because of what you did to me!" she growls,
tempted to throttle the stallion then and there. "I'm with the
blue stallion over there, this is all a load of bull! You've got
something up your hooves and I want no part in it!" she says,
pointing to Ocean, getting up from her seat, preparing to leave.
"Can't believe I flew all the way out here for this..." she
mutters under her breath, her tone filled with anger and venom,
remembering what this stallion did to her.

       ---------------------------------------------------------
Thyme looks up at the mansion as the carriage she'd arrived in
pulls away. It's certainly one of the more impressive manors
she's seen. She heads up to the mansion, giving a greeting to
the mare at the door and going inside to find a room. She gets
settled in to her guest room quickly enough, and changes into
the dress she'd brought along. The elegance of the garment is
somewhat ruined by the wheelchair, however, and she hopes she
doesn't stand out too much. With any luck their mysterious host
       would draw the most attention.
She heads down to the dinner, looking around at the other guests
as she wheels her way to an empty spot at the table. She does
her best to not draw attention to herself as the guests all
arrive. Thankfully, nopony else seems to really take much notice
of her, and the host arrives quickly. Thyme's eyes narrow into a
glare when she sees who had invited them all here, though she
stays quiet. She has serious doubt about how sincere his
supposed apology will be, even if he says he's changed.
